Re: Question re: allowed image extensions

I've solved this myself and I'll post the solution for anyone interested. I've found that you can edit the smiley database through phpmyadmin and it accepts svg format, so for anyone interested in doing the same, that's one solution. Not very practical for bulk importing, but I don't plan to do many...

Question re: allowed image extensions

Phpbb does support .svg, I've got them set up all over the place, but when I upload .svg smilies, I can't see them in my admin section. Is there an edit I can do to be able to add them? I'm converting my site to fully responsive, and the image quality for scalable vectors is perfect for small attach...

Re: Some users have recently reported issues with bbcode/smilies/and other .js features

yes, you have done well. however, that has nothing to do with the fact that there seems to be a problem with cloudfare in many cases and it is not needed to keep your board running smoothly. my point is that the only time you MIGHT see a difference in performance would be with a large board will lo...

Re: Some users have recently reported issues with bbcode/smilies/and other .js features

unless you have a very large, very busy board ( as in thousands of members and thousands of posts) then cloudfare is really not giving you any benefits. from what I have seen it is way more trouble than it is worth if you are running phpbb etc. robert We do have a pretty big board. As far as the NF...

Re: Some users have recently reported issues with bbcode/smilies/and other .js features

You were certainly spot on the money Rich. I disabled the cloudflare rocketloader (used to cache) .js files, but no luck. Disabled their cache system completely by switching to development mode. . .nope, didn't fix it. I completely paused cloudflare and sure enough, it worked for those who had issue...

Re: Some users have recently reported issues with bbcode/smilies/and other .js features

Another example of why this issue is so confusing for me: Here's something from another user I just got: OK, this is weird. I currently have two different computers in two different buildings at work (I split my day between different departments). On both of them, I access this site using Firefox 38...

Re: Some users have recently reported issues with bbcode/smilies/and other .js features

It is in this file http://raiderforums.com/styles/R-FBackground/template/editor.js and is right there insert_text('[quote="'+ username+'"'+ _post_id+']'+ theSelection+' '); <<Hide [/quote][/quote][/quote][/quote] My editor.js file is posted on page 1 of this topic. Here's what I get when ...

Re: Some users have recently reported issues with bbcode/smilies/and other .js features

Just an update for anyone who is helping me on this, I've gone through every file that's been changed or saved in the last 3 months. Using CTL-F I can't find any sign of the word "hide" if that's what's causing the issue. I'm confused out of my mind on this. Could it be something old, that...

Re: Some users have recently reported issues with bbcode/smilies/and other .js features

No. The error message is pointing at the ";<<Hide" in your editor.js I'm not seeing a Hide anywhere in my editor file. What could I be missing? Also, if it is in fact ";<<Hide" could it be something I accidently copied when doing a manual edit from a mod? That phrase is right be...
