2.0.13 to 2.0.17 error message

Upgraded a brand new 2.0.13 board to 2.0.17 using the "changed zip" files. The board is Subsilver with no mods. The "update to latest version" file was launched with no errors being reported. The install and contrib directories were appropriately deleted. Below is the error message I get when I atte...

Simply go to your Administration Control Panel (ACP) . . . Forum Administration and select Permissions. Here you can configure who can view, post, reply, etc. for each of your forum sections. You can set permissions so that "All" can view a given section or only "Reg" (registered users).

Here's another one where you can configure the background colors and then configure how the font colors will look on your chosen background!

That might seem to be one way of addressing the issue for sure. However, every single person on the board then has to opt to utilize " that " feature in lieu of the feature under the Profile section. Greater control (and privacy) could be obtained if the Administrator could determine the ability to ...

Reply Notification Control

Presently, each user controls under their "Profile" page whether they want to receive notification of replies to the board. Presently this is pretty much an all or nothing option. I would propose a MOD that would allow greater control of this feature especially for the Administrator. As the Administ...

Thanks for the quick response. You are correct that the e-mails only go out to those who configured to receive them. I think what I'm searching for is a way to shut that "E-mail Notification" feature off all together for my Testing Section of my board. The answer will probably have to be in a specia...

Stop e-mail notices of posts on a specific section?

I have a specific section of my forum dedicated to "TESTING". I know under each user's Profile section they can elect to receive e-mail notices of Post's added to the site. However, I would like to configure this particular "TESTING" section of the Forum so that NO e-mail notices of post's to this s...

Thanks Tahoebuff for your assistance here. I had already attempted to change the "posting_body.tpl" file but that didn't work too well. Specifically, I entered that file and changed the "Dark Blue" to "Light Blue". I then went to the "lang_main.php" and changed it from "Dark Blue" to "Light Blue" as...

Thanks and yes I know about the color bar mod. It's a good one (once you make a few needed corrections to the script), but unfortunately this isn't what I'm looking for, but I do appreciate your suggestion very much. I do have another related question . . . in case the hex code conversion cannot be ...

Posting Font Drop Box - Hex Codes?

Does anyone know if you can substitute the actual hex code (example "#336699") for the actual name of the posting font color (example "brown") in the php code ? I know you can manually insert any given color hex code within the tags in the posting box. But I would like to be able to actually change ...
