It's funny I see this thread before I was able to make mine. I was planning on doing a mod kind of like this. I have other design goals though. At any rate I should have bbcode and smilies working within a few days.

have you looked at the block loading built into im portal by nay chance. So you know I for a wile was a core dev for envolution and postnuke. I still have cvs access to postnuke but have not done anything for a couple years. I helped to port the current smarty template system into what will some day...

well i may or may not be interested but you have no links and no way to see what your core looks like. I have been considering doing the same myself. There are many things like this out there now though. Each and every one of them for one reason or another have fallen by the way side and development...

no I have not been able to login still. I also never got your email. Are you sure your mx entries are correct for your mailserver. This does happen to me sometimes but not very often.

Hm I tried to sign up at your site but it never sent my registration email and on top of that I decided to have it send me a second email by using I forgot my password.

In both cases I have received no password and have no way to log into the site

thanks I have that part working already. I used a little bit different naming on it than that but otherwise it's the same. I also found a few little bits that were messing up my image links but now is all working properly. The only part that I dont have working is the knowledge base code. Downloads ...

well this mod takes away the sids for google and other bots. So this is obviously helping your site. Google may but usually does not spider sites with sids. It is like anything else in that everything helps. Some sites may do well while others do not. So it is better if you can to use as many things...

well if you were running a site whit any kind of traffic at all and if you can see windows xp getting patched to fix security holes you would know that there is never ever an excuse for adding features at the cost of security.

All it takes is to get your site hacked once to loose everything.
