Re: oauth_states Table

Well the entries are being created every-time a guest or bot navigates to one of the oauth login links.

Such as:

Code: Select all

Re: oauth_states Table

I have 125,756 entries in mine and 99% are for user id 1. I do use oauth on my board but why so many entries for the anonymous user for google and facebook?

Re: Links do not convert after update to 3.2.6?

Found the issue. It was caused by the ext "External Link In New Window": https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/external_link_in_new_window/ Now it works again, after disabling the ext. Nothing new there. Seen a few extensions break when updating phpBB over the past couple of years. One shoul...

Automatic update went through smoothly, thanks!

But: Anybody else having problems with links to external sites not parsing as links anymore?
I just edited a test post on my board and entered www.google.co.uk and it parsed as a link.

EDIT: works here too

Re: phpBB 3.2.6 - You are not authorised to send private messages.

My bad, I had been testing an extension prior to updating and i'm sure that is the cause of my account being added to the Newly Registered User group.

Re: phpBB 3.2.6 - You are not authorised to send private messages.

I updated from phpBB 3.2.5 > 3.2.6 and I can no longer compose any private messages. I get the following error: COMPOSE MESSAGE You are not authorised to send private messages. Working beforehand and I haven't changed any permissions. Having just checked permissions within ACP the group does have y...

Re: Can I delete the migration log files in \store?

Sure, but there should be logic in the process that creates the log the removes past logs, or all logs bar the most recent 2 or 3. Maybe a function within the update script to purge the old logs from the previous update before processing the latest update? Submit a request if you think it's needed.

Re: Can I delete the migration log files in \store?

It isn't junk if something goes wrong and you don't know it has until sometime later and need to refer to logs to find the cause.

Re: Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Mick is correct. :geek:

You need to locate the database backup for your old phpBB board and import it on to the new server.

Re: Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Yes. You have not installed a backup of your old phpBB board. :|

None of your databases have phpBB3 installed on them.

Many of them are empty and the others contain Wordpress.

Having just looked at your u261911971_new database, this is a Wordpress database, not phpBB.
