Re: Links in post don't open in new window - how to create BBCod

I noticed that already, but that problems seems to be only a cosmetic one. At least it works and I hope the author will fix the issue in the future.

I think it's better this way than the new behavior of phpbb3. Keep to the standards - and the standards are set by phpbb2 in this case.

RC1 is history, better update your board. The link mod is designed für RC2 only.

Re: Links in post don't open in new window - how to create BBCod

It workes very fine here. I implemented section 2 (Links inside posts) for prosilver on a RC2-board.

BTW: Don't forget to update your templates and clear your cache via ACP after altering the code.

Re: RSS feeds?

Just around the corner in the MODs in Development section. Type in the search field "RSS" and you will find several (BETA) solutions. A very simple one iirc is called Simple Syndication.

Re: RSS feeds?

There are also RSS-Mods (still BETA) which don't interfere with the phpbb code - you just have to add some file(s), what doesn't cause any problem if you have to upgrade phpbb.

I was clicking a lot around in your forum and didn't find anything unusual (FF 2.0.0.4). Empty your browser cache. If that doesn't help you should check your harddisk for errors.

Re: Bugreport: URL-Tags not working with line breaks (RC2)

In phpbb2 it works. So it does in html:

<a href="#">blabla<br />
blabla</a>

Re: Bugreport: URL-Tags not working with line breaks (RC2)

not a bug - It is supposed to not work. Sorry. For me it is completely illogical that a multiline text is working correctly as URL if it contains soft breaks (1st example) and it doesn't work if it contains hard breaks (2nd example). Furthermore this new behaviour destroys old posts if boards are c...

Re: [BETA] simple syndication

I do however notice it's appending sids to the url when ran from third party software. This could be problematic as it's creating alot of alternate urls. Can this SIDs be shut off? Right. RSSOwl marks all items as unread after each reload since the posts have different URLs each time. The SIDs shou...
