How do I know if my board's using SSL?

I have no idea what SSL is. I just know there's an SSL folder on the server I'm using. Does that mean my board's using SSL or how do I find out?

Re: How do I change the size at which gallery avatars are displayed?

OK, this has been so frustrating. FINALLY worked it out. It's this code I need,

Code: Select all

#gallery img {
   max-width: 200px;
   height: auto;
}
I kept thinking the hashtag at the beginning must be a typo and there should be a dot there but no, that code works perfectly.

Re: How do I change the size at which gallery avatars are displayed?

I added a similar code for the gallery avatars when doing my Clean-Boardz style, The code i added was: #gallery.gallery label img { max-width: 100px; } It should also work in Prosilver. Nope, I'm afraid that didn't work either. This is driving me up the wall. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. No m...

How do I change the size at which gallery avatars are displayed?

I don't want to actually resize them; I just want the choices in the gallery section of edit avatar to display at a certain width. And for the width:height ratio to stay the same as when the images are in full size. I've tried adding this code to the bottom of common.css but it doesn't work. .galler...

Re: Where do I go for 3.1 support now it's no longer provided here?

yes. Better to solve all problems step by step ;-) Without correct cookie settings nothing can work right, isn't it? Not depending on your phpBB version. OK, I'll give it a try, thanks. EDIT: Oops, I made a mistake. There was no problem with my cookies. The problem was I have an extension installed...

Are you trying to show me how to fix my cookie settings so I can get 3.2 to work properly?

Where do I go for 3.1 support now it's no longer provided here?

I can't use 3.2 as if I log out, I can't log back in again. That's a problem to do with cookies that I brought up (I think) a year ago that still hasn't been resolved yet. So I'm still using 3.1 (specifically 3.1.10), and I've just discovered a major problem. I can't save any profile information. If...

How do I edit the information page that appears after registration?

It says, "Thank you for registering, your account has been created. You may now login with your username and password." I wanna delete that last sentence. It's redundant. I have an autologin extension installed so people are automatically logged in the moment they register.

Is there any way to hide the Flash button in 3.1.10?

Now Flash has been shown to be very insecure and vulnerable, is there any way to just permanently hide the Flash button above the posting box?

Guests can't view the user control panel, right?

I was checking the Who Is Online and I saw a 'Guest' viewing the user control panel. How can that be?

Re: Can anyone help me change this code?

Let's be honest, they'll just click back..... no.... instead of close tab....no.... :) That doesn't quite make sense but I think I understand you anyway. It would just look better to me if the redirect opened in the same window. It just looks silly opening in a new tab, imo. Is there no way around ...

But why shouldn't it open in a new window?
Like I said, I just think it looks silly. I'd just prefer the redirect to Google to open in the same window.
