Re: Best way to include js/jquery libraries in one or more extensions

Hmh. I've added the following line in my composer.json of my extension to the require field: "wolfsblvt/core": ">=1.0.0-dev", The full composer.json is: {     "name": "wolfsblvt/mymod",     "type": "phpbb-extension",     "description": "Description",     "homepage": "http://google.de",     "version"...

Re: Best way to include js/jquery libraries in one or more extensions

You go the point, yes. Especially your second paragraph is the real problem I have. I mean I can design the libraries to be downward compatible. But there is NO way to make sure that the newer library is included, and not the older one. That's the real problem. So I came to the same conclusion than ...

Re: Best way to include js/jquery libraries in one or more extensions

I am developing with Visual Studio and TFS, so no github. But there is nothing really to show. I have moved files around and around and searched for solution. There is also not very much in my extension. Just a template event file where I wanted to add a javascript file, a javascript library file an...

Re: Best way to include js/jquery libraries in one or more extensions

Okay, I've excluded my libraries now and made a core extension. Couldn't thought of another way. If someone has any better solution, I would appreciate so much. I would even pay a few euros for a really good solution :P You think there is any possibility to get my extensions validated for extension ...

Re: Best way to include js/jquery libraries in one or more extensions

Link still not fixed :-/ But a more important question for me. I have thought about it hours and hours and I can't find any solution wich is easy enough to do it. As I said above, I want to create my own php an js libraries wich I can use in my extensions. The reason is I often have functions that I...

Re: Best way to include js/jquery libraries in one or more extensions

Ah, I haven't thought about the define of template variables if adding. This would be a neat solution. The only problem in this case is how much components I'll add to jquery UI for example. Let's say I'll just take minimum needed components. If I'll need one more component in the future, I have to ...

Many things I'll just do for private, but I want to release some features that I think would be valuable for others too.
So I would answer this question with "yes, I am planning to release them".

Re: Best way to include js/jquery libraries in one or more extensions

Use <!-- INCLUDEJS ....--> in your extensions template Yeah, I've found that new template statement. But do this prevent adding multiple versions of the same library? And does that mean I have to publish a version of the library for each extension? For example I often try to program reusable functi...

Best way to include js/jquery libraries in one or more extensions

I know this topic came up a few times during the development of 3.1, I have read all the topics I could find. There were some nice ideas, but if I am right none of them were implemented for 3.1, they were postponed to 3.2. So with extensions it will be even more difficult to prevent conflicts with m...

Re: Best way to handle style changes in Extensions where no event exists

Thanks for the answer. I have done that now.

I don't know how much events will be added till official release, I think in this few hours it is too late, right?
So I have to think about a workaround until the next patch version.

Any idea here?

Best way to handle style changes in Extensions where no event exists

Hey. I am trying to get my first Extension working. I've done quite a lot on MODs, and snippets on my own forum. I think I am understanding the new system better and better. But I have a problem. I wanted to add something beneath the searchbox in overall_header in prosilver. But there are only event...
