Re: Catastrophic 3.2.1 update

That’s why using test forum (preferably locally) is recommended and important.
Right now there’s no way that anyone can help you. We need some more details.

Re: Importing database - BBCodes not parsing

As far as I know the reparser won't parse new BBCodes. You should have added the custom BBCodes before you did the migration. The reparser is to convert the old syntax to the new, and runs in the background, or when a post is viewed for the first time. If you’d read my post you’d know that I did it...

Re: Sub-Accounts / Account Links / Account Switcher

I can confirm that this extension is available through DMZX site after a donation. The smallest amount is 5 EUR and you get access for some other extensions, but IMO this one is the most usable.

Re: Is there a way to set BBCode permissions?

The Advanced BBCode Box extension comes with a feature where you can assign BBCodes only for private use to certain usergroups. It might make some other cosmetic changes as well so it's probably wise to test this extension first before enabling it on your live board. Is there a way to disable visua...

Re: Importing database - BBCodes not parsing

Well I filled a ticket: https://tracker.phpbb.com/browse/PHPBB3-15265 and they just told me to wait, because BBCodes would parse itself after some time. I have been using my board for two months now and they didn’t parsed so it’s a bummer. To fix those problems I simply used totally unsuporrted STK ...

Is there a way to set BBCode permissions?

I really wanted to give my moderators some special BBCodes but I haven’t found option in ACP. Is there one?

Re: Edit post history

Try Prime Post Revision. It needs some tweaks (like manually adding table and adding the button for moderators to see posts revisions) but it works on my 3.2.

Re: Detecting if search.php outputs posts or topics

Found it. It was „$event['show_results']”. It can be either „topics” or „posts”, so the code should look like that: foreach($rowset as $key => $row) { if ($event['show_results'] == 'posts') { $post_id = $row['post_id']; $topic_id = $row['topic_id']; $sql = "SELECT topic_id as topikide, poster_id as ...

Re: Detecting if search.php outputs posts or topics

if ($murowaniec2_id['topikposter'] == NULL || $murowaniec_id['postautor'] == NULL || $post_id == NULL) {} Looks like this code here checks for what you want. Just use the variables there to make the conditional statement you want. Well, nope, it checks for something that doesn’t even exist in this ...

Detecting if search.php outputs posts or topics

I’m making some changes to marcovo’s HIDE BBCode extension and I need to detect if search.php is in topics or posts mode. Here’s the function: foreach($rowset as $key => $row) { $post_id = $row['post_id']; $topic_id = $row['topic_id']; $sql = "SELECT topic_id as topikide, poster_id as postautor FROM...

Re: SQL solution to approve all posts?

I manage to fix the issue by editing phpbb_topics and switching values in topic_posts_approved and topic_posts_unapproved where the first was 0 and the last was greater than 1. So that was what I missed.

Re: SQL solution to approve all posts?

Funny thing is that posts are visible for users in the topic preview during making a new post.

Re: Caching errors

…Turned out that Eles, the theme I bought, has trolled me the whole time. Coreframe, the extension that Eles is packed with, has a devmode which messes with caching. It allows theme edits and I did a bunch of them, leaving the devmode on. I should turn it off right away. It seems that the cache prob...

Re: SQL solution to approve all posts?

Are we really talking about posts? Or can users not even see the topics (because there's also phpbb_topics.topic_visibility )? Oh and all post author's post+topic counts are now wrong as well. Only posts aren’t visible, topics are perfectly fine. For example – there’s a thread with 8 pages, users c...
