Re: Caching errors

It may be a folder/file ownership compatibility problem. Server admin set it to default, besides – phpBB didn’t gave me any errors like that (although it was heavily modded). The problems are still there, the site went down with: [phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/phpbb/di/container_builder....

And if you contact your host, ask for the "keep alive" function.
I asked about it and it’s on. IDK why caching errors are still happening to me…

Well… False positive. Caching errors are here again. I will contact my server admin and see what can I do.

Re: SQL solution to approve all posts?

The thing is… What does post approval change in the database? I tried to catch that but besides changing post_visibility there’s nothing more AFAIK…

My server admin actually did something (IDK what, he didn’t tell me), and the cache problems are gone. Yay! Thank you for your advices and support.

Re: 3.2 extension to embed youtube

I need a very specific YouTube embedder, to use with my mChat – is there anything that parses youtube.com and youtu.be with timestamps and playlist features…? I don’t need anything else, so aforementioned extensions don’t suit me. I just need to change my BBCode to parse every Youtube link incarnati...

SQL solution to approve all posts?

Hi, I messed up my database. :D I tried to approve 7k+ posts after converting from phpBB 2. Somehow they weren’t approved. Doing it by hand would take terrible amount of time, so I tried to edit those posts properties directly in the database. In forum_posts_approved and forum_topics_approved I set ...

Re: Caching errors

See that all the files/subfolders in the cache also have 0777 permissions. Yeah, they are. Already contacted my server admin, maybe it’ll help. Another strange thing: when an error occurs, sometimes simple page refreshing fixes it and forums runs smoothly for a while. There are example errors: 1. A...

I see no errors
They are frequent whilist using mChat and posting, sometimes they occur while visting topics, posts and such. Caching errors give severe blank‐sites and other weird bugs.

I have caching errors all over the board. See for yourself: http://leviathanrpg.pl Sometimes website just fails to write a cache.
The CHMODs are set correctly. to 777. My host allows it. What else can cause it?

Re: Importing database - BBCodes not parsing

Back in the 3.0.X days there was the STK: https://www.phpbb.com/support/stk/ which allowed to reparse BBCodes. Is something like this available for 3.2?

Re: Importing database - BBCodes not parsing

So there are the steps I’ve taken:

1. Installed fresh phpBB 3.2.
2. Added necessary BBCodes.
3. Converted 2.0 database into 3.2 via built‐in convertor.

…And custom BBCodes still not parse. Is there a way to make them work without manually editing and immediately saving all posts?

if he wants to 'leave' and have 'all his information deleted'. The posts could remain in the board as they usually don't contain identifiable information, he/she could "anonymize" his/her email address (by changing it to a non-existing one, thus disabling his own access to the board) and his IP wou...
