It appears that you haven't updated your database yet. In the Update folder, you will find and install folder containing a file called update_to_latest.php. Upload that folder, including its contents, to your phpBB root. You will then run this utility in your browser. The path will look something li...

Post a txt link to your common.php file. Don't post the code here. Just create a duplicate of it and add the .txt extension to the end. Upload it back to your server and provide a link back to it here so that we can look to see what you are seeing... http://img398.imageshack.us/img398/6694/munky27rr...

kjcdude, you can look at the backups files that EM made for you in the Update folder and see what the files looked like before EM made any changes. The error in your page_footer_admin.php file is not a mistake that EM would make unless perhaps you are using EM 0.2.0, which had a serious one line fla...

Yep, you got the admin/page_footer_admin.php file error pegged aboyd. EM wouldn't have made a mistake like that, so it had to have been a problem before this Update... http://img388.imageshack.us/img388/2114/eusaclap2gc.gif The index.php file is a mess too. kjcdude, did you have to make any changes to the MOD file to get the install to work in EM? Also, what version of EM are you using??? Post TXT links to the index.php and page_footer_admin.php files here so they can be analyzed for problems. Don't post the code here though, just text links. You can d...

boon.cc, install this on your Test board first. If you don't have one, you might want to consider creating one. Your Test board should be a mirror image of your live board. Also use EasyMod to install it. Once you install it successfully on your Test board and all is funcitoning properly, then insta...

EM doesn't add an entry into the History table until the install is complete. Unless you have uninstalled the 2.0.18 Update, it is complete. If you still aren't convinced, you can download one of the modified files and compare it with what the Update said to change. Since you have the Update listed ...

I'm sure that was confusing for you alosito. When you saw the DIY instructions in EM, at that point, you were supposed to run the update_to_latest.php file in your browser. Then you were to continue and complete the install in EM. EM doesn't change a thing until the final step... http://img398.image...

It's not in your lang_main.php file. So you need to modify your MOD file to find something that is in your lang_main.php file. This will work just as well: # #-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------ # // ------------------------------------------------- // Bookie Mod Since these are ...

I just need to buy a vowel Alex. :-) Here's your vowel. REPLACE WITH # #-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------ # // // ...

Since it sounds like you have a lightly modded board, then EM can probably install the 2.0.18 Update in a matter of minutes. EM is the way to go, especially for huge updates like this... If you are using EM, then this MOD should install fairly easily for you. You would want to place each part in separate folders before you upload them to the admin/mods folder so that each part would have their own backups and processed folders. Unless you have Categories Hierarchy installed, then yo...

Why update the version manually when you can just run the update_to_latest.php file and let it do all the necessary changes for you? Why make it harder than it needs to be???
