Re: [3.2][3.3][BETA] Emoji

Yes, purged the forum cache and cleared browser cache. I also disabled all extensions apart from Emoji ext in case one was conflicting with this one. Still no joy. I'm using standard Prosilver style. When as admin I go to edit a post, the emoji shown in the topic title shows correctly, but not in th...

Re: [3.2][3.3][BETA] Emoji

I'd really love this extension to work. But I don't see any emoji on the full posting page. Have I missed something?

Running phpBB 3.3 and using Firefox. But I get the same on my Samsung mobile.

Re: [3.1][3.2][DEV] MegaMenu, Sticky Menu, Navbar for phpBB

Thanks for that. I also had to amend the services.yml and tables.yml files in the config folder to get it to work on the newer phpbb 3.3. You might want to add these files (attached). Also, the downloaded file on Github is showing up as version 1.00. You may wish to update that too. Other than that,...

Re: 3.3 upgrade successes

Tried using the automatic upgrade option 4 times but it wouldn't have it (3.2.8 to 3.30). Used the full package and it worked a dream with these instructions: https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3.3/ug/upgradeguide/upgrade32/ I only had one issue with the Default Avatar Extended extension but than...

Re: Update to 3.3 working fine apart from smilies

I've found the problem. All my smilie codes were surrounded in square brackets. E.G [Smilie.png]. Although this wasn't a problem with the old forum, the new version doesn't like this. I've changed all my smilie codes to -Silies.png- and all new posts are now showing the smilies. Unfortunately, older...

Update to 3.3 working fine apart from smilies

I can see all the smilies on the posting page. I can see all the older forum smilies made before the update. But 'some' newly posted smilies (since the update) aren't showing.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Re: [3.1][3.2][DEV] MegaMenu, Sticky Menu, Navbar for phpBB

Just a heads up. I found the navbar was causing my forum to hang/not fully load today. I tracked it down to the line in the overall_footer_body_after.html which was directing to a third party site for the bootstrap.min.js file. It was taking an age to load the file. <script src="https://maxcdn.boots...

Re: [3.2][RC] Extension .yml check

Thank you so much. Your extension made it very easy to spot the incompatible .yml files and re-write them to make them compatible. Before: before.png After: after.png I'm sure some of those older extensions may get an update before phpBB 3.3 and I appreciate your extension doesn't guarantee that an ...

Re: S_Username BBCode

I find this ext really useful. I use it to add a simple time of day welcome at the top of the index page using the announcement ext. It works really well. Thank you. I'm just wondering, is there anything I can do to add the users avatar before the s_username so it shows like it does at the top right...

Re: [RC] Mobile Device

I've got the hang of it now. Here are the added phones I have done so far with their images as seen in my logs. I've spaced out the entries in the function.php file so you can see the additions. Mobiles.zip ''Moto G', 'Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo', 'ZTE Majesty Pro Plus LTE', 'Samsung Galaxy J5', 'Samsung...

Re: [RC] Mobile Device

Thank you John. I've only done one so far, but the user that was using the Moto G phone hasn't visited since, but need to check that what I am doing works first. There are many holes in the mobile list and the list is growing as new phones get added. Samsung 9 and 9 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung ...

Re: [RC] Mobile Device

Thank you snipper, I'll take a look. Looks like I need to add the lines in the core/functions.php file (not listener.php) then add the phone code to the common language file. (and create an image for it). Is that correct?

Re: [RC] Mobile Device

Fantastic work. My users love this extension. I have a few users where their Android phone model isn't detected. I'd appreciate some help with adding new devices. I can't seem to 'find' a match in the listener.php from page 1 of this thread. I assume the code has changed since then. One user seen in...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

Should the administrator not be exempt from accepting the policy? No, because the Admin is also a user and as such is required to accept the policy. If you had accepted the policy then you would have been able to login. OK, fair statement. Then maybe the option to disable the 'accept' pop-up and/or...
