I'm trying to change the default style to prosilver Database config_value = 1 and config_name = default_style but the forum style is still platinum. Cache clear.

What happens if you reverse whatever it is you've done? Have you tried with that extension disabled with prosilver as the style? Default style is Platinum.
Previously two pages were made with this extension, then everything worked.
