The following topic is one which explains it http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=146153&highlight=search+httpgetvars Thanks. I'm going to take bits and pieces from that thread. The desired end result is to be able to display search results using all keywords and within a specified forum. Fro...

Search Keywords and Forum in URL

I know that you can specify search keywords in a URL like this: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/search.php?mode=results&search_keywords=foo Is there a way to add a variable in the URL to include only results from a particular forum? I tried this but it doesn't work: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/search.php?...

Assign topic subject & topic search based on subject

This is a pretty extensive mod "request", but I just want to see if something like this has already been done before pursuing it further. I run a site that provides info on regional ski areas. In my forum, I have a skiing trip report forum where members post skiing trip reports to various ski areas ...

I've been running Gallery with phpBB for some time now and it's been working great. I'm currently at Gallery 1.4.4-RC3 and phpBB 2.0.10: http://forums.alpinezone.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=gallery&file=index I even have the Random Block component working that randomly selects a pic from Gallery...

Allow style selection, but still have a default?

I have two styles on my forum (summer and winter) and I change the default with the season. Is it possible to allow members to choose between them (Override user style set to "No"), but add an option that would let members select "Default" which would change when the default style is changed?

I have a different problem with external CSS file. After cutting out all the <style>..</style> and uncommenting the link to the external style sheet all the input borders became thick like this . Can I do something with this not creating new classes in my CSS file and adding "class=something" in ev...

You can probably use an SQL Query to find all the people who have a post count of zero, and then delete. Yup. I thought of this for the members that have never posted, but there will certainly be many that have posted to some of the other forums that aren't being carried over. It would be nice to t...

Here's another question. After the move of the single forum to the new phpBB installation, is there a way to delete any members that have never posted to that particular forum? The result would be a memberlist of only those that have posted. I doubt it's an easy thing to pull off. Thoughts?

Moving one forum to another phpBB installation?

I have a non-profit event-oriented forum as part of my boards. We are in the process of setting up a dedicated site with a fresh phpBB installation for this event. What is the best way to copy this single forum over to the new installation? I was thinking of backing up the entire board, installing p...

Okay. I've made some major progress here. I've been fooling with phpBB Fetch All to get this to work. My first problem was using the wrong version of Fetch All (downloaded from the Mods page here)! I was running 2.0.3 which doesn't support the phpbb_fetch_thread function. Installed 2.0.10 and...
