No code line has been modified, even in style definitions! So as a result, we must respect the color logic of subSilver. The pb was locate...

If you mean the popup that you get when you click "View more emoticons", then open posting_body.tpl and search for the first occurrence of "'_phpbbsmilies". Right after that you will find HEIGHT and WIDTH attributes for the popup window. The values for the window size are in pixels.

Two bits of advice:

1 - Wait more than 26 minutes before bumping your post.
2 - Be more specific as to what problems you are having or what you don't understand. Nobody here is a mind-reader...

Re: Ads by Google

skeetley wrote: Do you just sign up at AdSense? https://www.google.com/adsense/

Yes, then add the Google Adsense code to overheader.tpl or overallfooter.tpl. Do a search here for "adsense" and you'll find more info than you ever wanted to know...

Not sure exactly what you mean, but couldn't you just embed the images in the thread using the [img] tags and then assign them a name to be used in the poll?

and why is using another excellent bulletin software make a site a problem? Vbulletin has advantages over PHPbb, but its a paid board. Phpbb is well above other free forum software, but its missing a lot of "perks" that could be found in the paid software. So, a site chooses to use Vbulletin. Doesn...

I use VenturesOnline. While they're not the cheapest player in the game, their support is top notch. For more info on finding a host, check this site:

That is the site for web hosting issues. The only problem is, it uses vBull...

Finally! My phpBB forum has some life!

I've been running a message board on my site for a number of years. I started with phpBB using 1.4 way back when. It's taken the better part of 4 years but it finally has a decent amount of activity (about 40 posts/day). That's not a lot by some standards, but it suits my regional site just fine. An...

Here's a better way: <html> <head> <title>Redirecting...</title> <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=http://www.opimaconsulting.com/phpbb2/"> </head> <body> </body> </html> Obviously, use the correct URL for your board. Also, many hosts offer redirecting capability as part of the CPanel. Hope ...

It seemed to work. I also had to manually increase the user's post count. Please let me know if there is anything else I should be aware of here. Thanks.

Update: I was able to find the three unassigned posts based on the old account's user_id. Can I simply update that field with the "correct" user's user_id? Will that correctly associate these 3 posts? I just want to be sure before I do this...
