Re: What's the simplest way to update an existing style?

can I get the link to this style, and a link to your board? The link to download the Maxthon style is here . My forum is located here . It is also my understanding that the Maxthon style uses the prosilver template and just links to different themes and different imagesets. This might be relevant: ...

I followed prototech's instructions in the second post. Not being satisfied with that, because I didn't recognize a single change, I then uninstalled the style and then tried installing it again. What am I missing? Is there any way to fix this?

Re: Why can't I see the updated Maxthon style?

The Maxthon update has this look from the demo page: http://www.everythingimportant.org/images/newFR.PNG but I still have the old look: http://www.everythingimportant.org/images/oldFR.PNG Why isn't the updated Maxthon style appearing on my forum? The Maxthon theme is beautifully light, elegant and ...

Why can't I see the updated Maxthon style?

Simply overwrite the files, then refresh your template, theme, and imageset in the ACP => Styles => [Component] => Maxthon - Refresh. I've done that many times. I've also uninstalled the Maxthon theme and then reinstalled it. I believe that something else must be wrong but I can't imagine what. It ...

Re: What's the simplest way to update an existing style?

Thank you prototech. I knew it had to be easy. I just wish that I could recognize what has changed in the Maxthon style upgrade. I'm simply not aware of any refinements to what I had previously. Does anyone here know what the visible changes in the Maxthon style upgrade might be?

What's the simplest way to update an existing style?

I use the Maxthon style, which has recently been updated. I know how to add a new style to my board and uninstall one that I decide I don't like. Do I delete the existing style and then install the updated version? What's the simplest way to update an existing style?

N.Design for 3.0.7-PL1

Is there still a lot of interest in this theme? I'll admit I haven't really touched it in... quite some time to say the least. But if there is enough people who want it maybe I can find the time to rebuild it from the ground up. Nocek, I see that by googling "Style by Midnight Phoenix & N.Design St...

Re: Embedding videos hosted on your website (solved!)

I did it!!!! :) :) :) :) Here's the correct code: When I tried to insert Linda's code into the BBcode text boxes at my forum, I got this warning message: Warning The BBCode you are trying to add seems to use a {TEXT} token inside a HTML attribute. This is a possible XSS security issue. Try using th...

Re: Fix Ndesign theme for phpbb 3.0.6

if not, then, using the files provided here, do the update manually by opening each file and making the required edits using a good text editor. robert, What files are you talking about? What are the required edits to be made? The N.Design theme has never been updated since the beginning of phpbb 3...

Fix Ndesign theme for phpbb 3.0.7-PL1?

Since following aduk's advice applied to the latest files in 3.0.7-PL1, I have noticed the appearance of some nice new features, such as print view, but also the disappearance of some helpful links. Can anyone help me fix this theme by giving me advice on a few glitches? I really do believe that thi...

Re: Fix Ndesign theme for phpbb 3.0.6

OK. I manually refreshed the cache by deleting everything in phpBB's "cache" folder with the exception of "index.html" and ".htaccess". I now see my entire list of smilies (which I couldn't see before) but now I see a double link. I have one [ Moderator Control Panel ] link on top of another [ Moder...

Re: Fix Ndesign theme for phpbb 3.0.6

aduk, I followed your advice in uploading all the html files (except the overall header and overall footer) from the subsilver2 theme template folder to the N.Design template folder but I don't see any difference. And I refreshed the cache. What should I be seeing differently? Or by refreshing the c...

N.Design for 3.0.7-PL1

Is anyone working on updating this unique style to make it widely available and compatible with 3.0.7-PL1? Or does the original creator of this very beautiful theme want it to die forever?

Did you update that also?
I'm using N.Design *. I'm not aware of any update for that style.

To investigate your question, I quickly changed my board to prosilver and I found that prosilver doesn't have the glitch.
