Thanks for this report. This is another case of where one mod can affect how another mod can install or work.

I've been meaning to post this for a while. I found the previous scripts had some missing elements and wouldn't merge everything from phpbb cleanly. Note that I last worked on this script back in May of 2005, so I can't say if it will work ok for current (2.0.18 or 2.0.19) versions of phpbb. But I t...

I had the same problem with yahoo... something about the star * that broke the url. since I liked using thier feeds the most, I just switched the bbcode it uses to html in the functions_news.php. this works fine with other rss news feeds and blogs too. you will need t...

Wow, thanks for the report! I haven't had any other reports of problems with the increment and any version of easymod.

I'll have to try to look into this more. If I find anything I'll report back.

It's supposed to take the colspan="8" and change them into colspan="9" The colspan="7" should change to colspan="8" Basically whatever number is there should get incremented by one. if you wanted to, you could change the mod to not use the increment, but it should work. It has worked for others. Do ...

Hmm.. well I'd have to compare the previous line too. Sometimes it's not the immediate line, but can be a few to several lines before. Also check that your copy and paste went properly. I've see that cause some issues too, I don't know why. It could be EOL or white space issues, even though white sp...

Hi Cara, I don't see anything wrong with that line. Did you install this mod with EasyMod? The thing that may be, is that last few characters in the line like this: $board_config['board_timezone']) : ''; Those are two single quotes like this '', it's not one double quote ". This is a minor point, bu...

It is pretty strange that EasyMod couldn't tell you what line it couldn't find. Did you look later in the page? If you notice in some of the other 'did not find' pages which people reported, the text it couldn't find is a bit later in the page. Since .19 did not change anything in this file, it's go...

 I just did some simple testing of this. If you set the lockout minutes to 0 (zero) you disable this 'feature'.

Nice job!

Thanks again! :)

I appreciate the feature. Thanks go to the developers! Anything that can increase security is good IMHO. By the way, I might point out hat if you don't like the feature, set the time out time to 1 minute. I'm not sure if 0 minutes will disable the time out, but you could try that too and test it to ...

Hmm... the documentation on how to use it isn't included with easymod, but you can find it here: http://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?sid=&f=21&t=12140 Here's the basics on how I use it: If your phpbb installation was in the phpbb path of your web server (www.domain.tld/phpbb) you wou Create ...

Hi London Mom, I'm so glad that you got it working ok! Manually even! :) Sorry for my delayed response, I didn't get an email letting me know someone had posted here. Here's the link to the 2.0.18 version of the mod: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=1858395#1858395 And here is the link to ...

lol I must have sounded like a total moron. I know the meaning of the word, but didn't really understand what to increment. Guess I will have to study it. Thanks. The best way to install mods these days is to first install and use EasyMod. It makes it much easier to do and then you won't have to wo...
