Anyone watch The Colbert Report on Comedy Central? Though he was mostly making fun of her, I couldn't help but agree somewhat. Overrated. Actually, the Colbert Report is satire, so by agreeing with him, you are actually agreeing with the people he makes fun of. He was not making fun of Rosa Parks. ...

Something like this working with phpbb might be interesting, to say the least. Google Base will be more of an abstract layer upon a real database. IIRC there are only 3 data types, to make it simple for users who never worked with boolean, blob, and co. I guess it would be possible to build a layer...

Re: Mozilla Firefox surpasses 100M downloads.. What now?

On another point, IE comes with new computers. A ton of new computer owners dont care what browser they use because they dont know better. IE will never be phased out, no matter how popular FF is. Then, spread firefox needs to bombard computer manufacturers to send out a decent browser with compute...

Ultimately, I play my lovable little gameboy more than any other. The DS kicks arse for GBA games. <3

Hah, take that new, bleeding edge technology!

If the people handling the birds aren't getting it (or rather, I haven't seen any where they are?), I see no reason to worry about it. The media just overhypes anything it can to draw you in.

I did a small straw poll in one of my classes today.. It was an art class with 16 students, only 4 had heard of FF before.. But all have used the internet multiple times.. What does this say about the project?
That you aren't doing your part to uh, spread firefox?

While I don't doubt that they probably give their kids all of the attention and necessities, wouldn't it have been a bit nicer to hear that instead of reproducing all these children they could have simply adopted that many and given that many a good home to be raised in? Adoption isn't that easy. I...

It's amazing how everyone says "oh it's insane" or "it's not possible to raise that many". It's quite the opposite rather. My mom and dad split when I was 3, but got back together when I was 9. From that time on, they had a new kid almost every year (8 more, to be exact, I also have an older brother...

I work in a quick printing shop (similar to Kinkos, though not nearly as awful) as typesetter/graphics designer/technician(and soon to be press operator!), and we get documents created in MS Word all the time. The interesting thing is, i'd estimate 75% of those do not open correctly in WordXP, but t...

Re: Im insulted

How does verisign stop people from using credit cards to collect money for spammers… That's not the point. A verisign site lets people know they are a legitimate business before they do business. This is a hypocritical mod operated site. I guess mod can insult all they want with no public derogatio...

Hey, you know, I heard that this really bad group of hackers from Mongolia are using phpbb for all their discussions and planning. Obviously phpbb must support hackers and needs to be punished!!11!one... Blah... Chances are, Visa and Mastercard don't even know who is spamming, and all transactions t...

As for the laws in my area, unless it has recently changed, cats are not required to be on a leash or in a cage unless they are doing things such as going through garbage. For the where it occured, it happened in neither my yard nor theirs (where that is, I don't know because I didn't see it happen...
