Hmm, i'm kind of torn on this one. Was it the kid's fault for not being able to control the dogs, or the cat's owner's fault for not keeping the cat safe from attack in general? Non-agricultural animals (examples: cats and dogs) must be provided with a shelter. Ideally, cats should be kept as indoor...

Small, phpbb based homepage

Okay, first time i've really dived into phpbb's whole system, and i'm not that good of a php coder anyway. I've come up with this in the past few days: http://www.skippercc.com/adb/ It displays the first post of each topic in a particular forum(sort of like how phpbb.com's homepage reflects posts in...

As I don't think I have used one, why is it "the best"? Is it one of those keyboards that allow you to press a LOT of keys at once and it registers them all so that you don't end up trying to press half a dozen keys in a fighting game or fps or whatever and have one or more not be noticed because t...

You could buy an IBM Model M keyboard (or the modern equivalent) - anyone who's ever used one of them knows that it certainly clicks when you type  Psh. It does more than that. The ORIGINAL IBM Model M kicked much ass, and the remakes are nearly as good. I'd put the IBM Model M up against ...

I personally cant stand anything ati puts out...I have had nothing but problems with any ati product I have used...remote, tv tuners, video cards... Their hardware may be excelent, but their software/driver seems very buggy to me. ATI has buggy OpenGL drivers. I stay away from stock ATI drivers and...

Anyways, how do you get 8 monitors on a computer? Like this: (Im assuming there has to be another way besides getting multiple pci cards and an agp with dual outputs?) To my knowledge, the only way would be to keep adding PCI cards. I believe they are making dual output PCI cards now, but I may be ...

nah, dual screen isn't that hard on a computer. I remember doing it fine on an old 433mhz Win98SE laptop with 56MB of RAM. No speed problems, no quirks. The only thing I can see screwing around with dual screen would be custom drivers. Otherwise you should be able to do it with no problem. Also, i'v...

drathbun, I can view all unique visitors. And someone without having visited before (or directly knowing another who did) would not know whether my site was set to support their specific OS/browser combination. So, that suggestion really doesn't pan out. Uh, no. I can tell right off when a site is ...

Replacing a username with an image? Where might I find such a code to dynamically create an image of all usernames? I don't believe such a code exists. (insert other blather) Okay, firstly, do a Google search for GD2. Generating images of names would be quite easy, and probably look better. As for ...

Opera isn't as good (in my experience) as Firefox at supporting standards, but what I have seen of the browser in general I like.

Either way, Firefox or Opera, both are much better choices than IE.

Also now that it's free, i'll start making sure all my templates work nicely in it.

rolarity. Virtual Boy, I remember that coming out and failing so badly. Toys R Us was selling them for $20 USD. :)
