Basically you want to be able to search your forum for any posted links and have them dumped to a file or database correct?

Not a bad Idea. Let us know if you find something that does the charm on your own. I'd be interested in something like that.

[ABD] WordLinks MOD v0.0.1 -- NO SUPPORT

WordLinks MOD v0.0.1 Adds a seperate section below the Word Censors link in the ACP. There you can create word replacement strings in HTML and possibly other formats(haven't tested fully). Basically functions just like word censor only it allows for HTML tags as well as a lot more room for code. Yo...

If we are talking restricting to certain topics and not forums then this would be a bit more complicated of a MOD. First a user would have to be able to asign a rank level to a topic when it's posted. (so database change) 2nd, you'd have to change permissions in veiwtopic.php (and probably many othe...

Another note: when installing a MOD it is assumed that you are working with the base phpbb installation. So the only danger in installing multiple MODs is that you'll overwrite another mod's code or even more bothersome overlap the other MOD's code causing errors. So like ScionCrow said, =P But, you...

If you haven't made any modifications it really simple. Just download the latest version from the download section and follow the included installation instructions. If you installed once you can install it again. Good luck and lesson learned.

 THANK YOU

phpbb set me on the road to learning all I can about PHP. I could care less what features other boards have, the support and modification base for phpbb is far supperior to anything else on the web. A+ and a thumbs up to everyone involved.

Larger emotions

I think it's in the posting.php file. If it's not there it's linked from there. You could also show more emotions on the actual post page...I've got all my smile showing so you don't have to click on the window.

Errors?

Make sure you don't have any spaces after ?> at the end of the files. That may take care of the headers sent error. Check both functions and the page_header files.

Also have you moded you functions.php, if so let's take a look at the code around line 80?

I think this is the comma culprit. if ( $row['user_allow_viewonline'] || $userdata['user_level'] == ADMIN ) { $online_userlist .= ( $online_userlist != '' ) ? ', ' . $user_online_link : $user_online_link; } FYI -- I finally learned what ? and : do a few weeks ago. it's like an if else statement ( if...

Nice question

I think you could just mod the Funcions_valitade.php file. Add a little PHP magic to function validate_email. Wish I could be more help, but I think the validate function will be the key to your problem.

Might work

Good question...I didn't test this yet(I'm at work) but I think you could do this: PAGE_HEADER.PHP if ( empty($online_userlist) ) { $online_userlist = $lang['None']; } $online_userlist = ( ( isset($forum_id) ) ? $lang['Browsing_forum'] : $lang['Registered_users'] ) . ' <br> ' . $online_userlist; $to...

Use LDAP

Password protect your admin folder on the server for a bit more security.

Nice code Famitsu and manvikta...I think I'll add that to my forum too.
