either way is good..I dont care about the arrangment of the gifs so going one at a time is good but if you have a big time file with lots of images and you wont go one at a time then go by way of Kevins instruction..

ok, got you.. no to 7.something mb.. got you..2mb is the max.. ok, thanks.. ill dissapoint my posters of board they cant use that avatar or 96x96 gif img as avatar because it is to big but they can have it as a gif on board.. thanks for your help Jim, I was just trying to manipulate the board to tak...

What I did to add smilies onto my messageboard smiley section was, get images, go to your ftp program, open up where the messageboard is installed, go to templates and open up smilies and upload pics there and then go to your ACP and go to smiley and click on add smiley and your pic should be there,...

On my configuration, my avatar size is 964608<----how many MB is that? I cant increase it to 7.something mb avatar?

Go to the images/avatars directory with ftp and right click it. Now look for "Properties" or "CHMOD" or "Permissions" > set to 777 Are you sure the avatar is not 7.1KB? Be sure that the ones you try to upload do not exceed the size set in Admin CP Jim Ok, I right clicked it and clicked on the CHMOD...

For the first part, make sure the avatar folde ris writable (set the permissions/CHMOD to 777). For the second part, it's firefox helping you to fill in a form. You can turn it off in the privacy settings, use another browser ot use the Autofill Fix MOD . Actually, since moving to FF2.0 I don't get...

cant upload my avatar

I upload the avatar and it tells me it is uploaded but I cant see it..why is that?

also when some ask me to put up a avatar they like, I go to managment and type in username and the info comes up but my username is there instead of the person requesting to add a avatar..why is that?

on my board I send out PM's but no ones refreshes the board so that the pm cannot be read until they relog in.. is there a automatci refresher for the page?
