Re: The field “Location” is too long, a maximum of 0 charact

FIXED After a few investigation, I found the conflict: This mode is conflicting with the MOD Anti-Spam ACP , in the file: ucp_register.php The problem is when you check the validation here: // validate custom profile fields $cp->submit_cp_field('register', $user->get_iso_lang_id(), $cp_data, $error...

The field XXX is too long, a maximum of 0 characters

I have some problem with the registration/profile.
I get messages such as:
The field “Location ” is too long, a maximum of 0 characters is allowed.
Any idea for sorting out the error?... Where do you set the values?

Many thanks in advance

Re: Profile Fields Control MOD

The Mod work fine, except 1 problem: When I put Location as Display on registration screen or Required field and also display on registration it says: The field “Location ” is too long, a maximum of 0 characters is allowed. The only possibility to fill the registration is to leave it blank... or to ...

Re: Hide users with 0 posts in memberlist

Thanks for your help. It works, however you also need to remove the users with zero posts from the count as it would create a problem. In order to manage that: In memberlist.php FIND: // Count the users ... if ($sql_where) { $sql = 'SELECT COUNT(u.user_id) AS total_users FROM ' . USERS_TABLE . "...

Hide users with 0 posts in memberlist

I would like to hide (but not delete!) the users with 0 posts from the memberlist (they will appear after their first post). I assume there is a slight change in the SQL query to retrieve this? Can anybody point to the right direction? (phpbBB 3.0.6) Also there was an old MOD (phpBB2) that I found h...

Thanks in advance OK, got it 8-) I just needed to search within the topic! :geek: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewto...

[FIXED] How to display forum image and description in title

Hi,

For the list of forums under a category I can display a forum image on the left and a description below.

I would like to display the forum image and description also below the title of the forum - before the list of topics.
How can I do that? Your help would be much appreciated :P

Re: Create new forums using SQL

Ok OK I might give up... inserting new forum lines is mixing all categories and order... there is somewhere else to change orders, I don't now where...
I will probably do it manually instead :-(

Re: Create new forums using SQL

I think the only impacted forum is: phpbb3_forums Therefore a request to create a new category + new forum would be: INSERT INTO `phpbb3_forums` (`forum_id`, `parent_id`, `left_id`, `right_id`, `forum_parents`, `forum_name`, `forum_desc`, `forum_desc_bitfield`, `forum_desc_options`, `forum_desc_uid`...

Create new forums using SQL

Hi, I need to create 220 forums (yes, 1 forum per country ;) ) Of course I could use the ACP but it will take me AGES... therefore I want to prepare the SQL request in excel and apply them to the DB. I would be grateful for any help to tell me how to write a SQL query to create a new forum directly....

Re: Translating the titles of the different forums/sub-forums

In [DEV] Status yet Full Bilingual Board The title himself are easy to do. maybe i wrote this part of my mod as seperate mod... GREAT :) But instead of "bilingual" the mod should be "multi-lingual" (it shouldn't be very different) so we can implement as many languages as we want...
