I use the following, it is quick and easy to implement and has stopped spam registrations on my forum dead in there tracks

You need to place your phpBB3 folder inside your public_html folder

I am not sure exactly what it is you are trying to achieve so I may totally out of the ball park with my suggestion. Why not use the custom profile field option to achieve your aims? You could set the custom profile fields to be required on registration so any new member would have to fill out any f...

You can specify the maximum size allowed for images posted on your forum by:

Admin control panel > general > board configuration > post settings > posting > set the maximum image width and height per post > submit

Admin control panel > forum based permissions > groups forum permissions > look up the required user group > select a forum & click on submit > click on advanced permissions > click misc tab > increment post counter > set to no or never > apply permissions
