Reset password emails not sending. Is it Bluehost?

Users aren't receiving reset password links via their emails. I tested this on a new account. It doesn't work. However, it oddly enough works on my admin account?! I tried changing permissions of can reset password of new users and that didn't work. In CLIENT COMMUNICATION -> Email Settings: I tried...

$event['data'] contains information about the post itself. user_lastpost_time is a field in the $user object:

Code: Select all

$user_lastpost_time = $this->user->data['user_lastpost_time'];
Oh wow I didn't even look there. Thanks so much.

Sorry this posted twice for some reason.

Re: Get user_lastpost_time with $event in submit_post_end event?

That appears to not work either. $user_lastpost_time = $event['data']['user_lastpost_time']; returns blank upon a die(print($user_lastpost_time)) statement in the event. It is right around here in the giant die(print($event)); file: [user_lastmark] => 1459725671 [user_lastpost_time] => 1493384056 [u...

Get user_lastpost_time with $event in submit_post_end event?

I performed a

Code: Select all

die(print_r($event))
for the core.submit_post_end. I can't get this though.

Code: Select all

[user_lastpost_time] => 1493384056
I see it about halfway down the page.
How would I access this? Tried the $event['data'] but not there. It is such a big event!

Thanks.

Yes as that is for 3.0.
Why would this be removed?!
It would be so awesome to be able to address all of the users with their username instead of a generic Hey. Is there any alternative/extension/mod?

Post Message IF IS_CAT #2? (forumlist_body.html)

I want to put a message for people before category #2 in my forumlist_body.html, but can't figure it out. I am wondering if there is a conditional I can use or create like: <!-- IF forumrow.S_IS_CAT_2 --> "Hello World!" <!-- ENDIF --> So when it loops through it only prints it out only at category 2...

phpbb.com ads, why not?

I'm just curious, why doesn't the phpbb team place ads on its support forums?
When I installed phpBB, it said VigLink would help support the developers via my forum.
If they want support, why not put ads here too or on the documentation pages?

Re: Sifferent Ads for different Topic Groups?

Do you mean different ads for different forums or categories?
I don't think you can do it with individual topics.

Re: Why this mistake happens!

What changes were you making to your board? Were you installing it?

It might be the cache you must delete since I see that, but I also see the vendor folder being referenced.

It's an existing WP site with tons of pages, and my only need is to include the common.php file in the WP header functionally.

Safety Using PHPBB Database Outside of PHPBB

Hi everyone! I spent a lot of time today looking at PhpBB and trying to integrate it into my wordpress site. I have concluded it is hopelessly not working, so instead of using PHPBBs systems or migrating, I am going to just make my own login/authenticate system with PHP and connect to the PHPBB data...
