the program grep is your friend...

grep "%2527" /var/log/httpd/access_log | wc -l

That will give you a count of the hits on all sites the web server handles, assuming the logs aren't being split up by domain.

Question for those who got wormed...

I've read various messages that PHP and index.htm files were replaced by this worm. What file permissions were you using that allowed this? Are you using the SUEXEC module in Apache? I ask because our system's file permissions do not normally allow scripts to write to many places (user 'apache' does...
