Re: Content-Security-Policy: Table select not working for backups

The CSP is a configuration setting that whitelists and blacklists elements of itself ( 'self' ), other sites, and components of other sites from people's own website. It's a security feature that is added in the configuration file to reduce XSS attacks, among other security risks. It's not "supplied...

Re: Content-Security-Policy: Table select not working for backups

Yes, I can disable the CSP so that tables can be selected again for backups. I just don't want to have to edit the configuration file and reboot the server each time I want to make a backup, that's all. :) I just visited my phpMyAdmin page. With the CSP enabled, the index page is partially blank and...

Re: Content-Security-Policy: Table select not working for backups

It's through the ACP. Maintenance (tab) > Backup > Full + Text + Store file locally > Select all Choosing " Select all " does not select any of the tables. The URL changes from: &i=acp_database&mode=backup To this: &i=acp_database&mode=backup# This is my Content-Security-Policy at the moment: add_he...

Content-Security-Policy: Table select not working for backups

I have a Content-Security-Policy enabled for my site. The only problem is that I cannot select tables when wanting to do a database backup.

What condition or conditions must be met in a CSP for table-selections to be allowed so that I can make backups without having to disable this security feature?

phpBB Philosophy: PHP Support and SSL

I saw this topic: https://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=81&t=50831 It discouraged me. As a community, it is not up to us to decide these things. It should not be up to a vote proposing EOL versions of PHP and soon-to-be EOL versions of PHP to determine which version should be supported in f...

Re: [Discuss] phpBB Release, Security and Support Plan

Yeah, sorry about that. I know it's long. I went back to revise my grammar mistakes. I also added a TL;DR (too long; didn't read) phrase at the bottom. I'd rather not break up the paragraphs. If anyone wishes to interpret what I said, please use Google Translate at: https://translate.google.com/ No ...

Re: [Discuss] phpBB Release, Security and Support Plan

Voicing my opinion on this matter will likely not matter since I'm just a regular user with less than 20 posts. I'll give my feedback anyway. While it's important to have goals and plans, it's more important to be realistic about situations. Take a step back and accept what phpBB software is -- it's...

Re: Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'm surprised no one has posted here since 3.2 came out. My thanks goes out to everyone for keeping phpBB alive and for doing such amazing work on this incredible project. phpBB 3.2 feels rock-solid and really good to use. I've been a devoted phpBB user since March 18, 2003. Wow, that's almost 14 ye...

Re: https + Captcha = PHP error

I got it working. I'm not sure if all of these were necessary but these are the three lines changed in my php.ini file. The first line is what it was and the second line is what I changed it to. This made the errors go away. Guests can now pass the reCaptcha and post on my forums: session.use_strict...

https + Captcha = PHP error

I have posting enabled on my forums for guests, but they have to use reCaptcha before doing so. I just tested it and found that it returned these errors at the top of the page: [phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/vendor/google/recaptcha/src/ReCaptcha/RequestMethod/Post.php on line 68: file_get...

Re: MySQL 5.6.35 (x86) -> 5.7.17 (x64): Topics are gone

Hello again, Paul. The backups I make are always full text files. I even recently tested it by making some changes to my forums and then restored a backup I had just made prior. The changes made to the forums were gone, so the restoration worked while running 5.6.35. ACP > Maintenance > Full + Text ...

Re: phpBB 3.1.10 to 3.2.0 - No input file specified.

Marc, You are a lifesaver. It works now! I finally upgraded my forums to phpBB 3.2.0 thanks to your file. Thank you SO MUCH for all your time and effort! :D As a side note, I had to re-add this, otherwise WordPress's main page wouldn't show up. It was displaying the nginx's index page (index.html) o...

Re: phpBB 3.1.10 to 3.2.0 - No input file specified.

Bump. This is interesting. I just found out that the cache for my forums is now in it's own new folder, and not the folder it should be in. This is where it should be: http://www.mywebsite.com/forums/cache/ The only files there are the .htaccess and index.htm. This is where the cache is now located:...
