Why aren't registered users allowed to delete their own posts here?
Posts are never deleted here. They are simply moved to a hidden forum of which the public has no access to.

Also, I made a suggestion. Paul, this may apply to you:

Re: Any update on PHP 7.3 support?

Did you read what you wrote? 7.2 support ends on November 2019 That’s the facts. Security maintenance is not active support. It means all bugs will not be fixed even if they make the program unstable. It is not recommended to be on unsupported versions. Apparently you didn't read what I wrote. Secu...

Re: Any update on PHP 7.3 support?

It clearly states in the link you provided that Active support for php 7.2 ends 30 Nov 2019... So 4 months away. Security Support however ends 30 Nov 2020 - there is a difference between the two. To help inform you, support means it is supported. Security updates include security updates only. So l...

and that 7.2. will no longer get active support in a few months.
Where did you get your information from?

I wouldn't call 1 year and 4 months of remaining support for PHP 7.2 "a few months". The cutoff is November 30, 2020. That's still plenty of time.

Much the opposite, I really like it! A linguistic misunderstanding, I suppose the meaning of this expression sounds more positive in my native language. :)
Jim, I was joking. You know what a joke is, right? You don't have to act so formal all the time. There was no misunderstanding.

Please only bother to reply if you have something useful to input. Please do not tell people to not reply when they are providing free voluntary information to your ungrateful self. That being said, I'm not sure if you're a narcissist or a douche-bag. Maybe you're both. But I do know that after rea...

Re: MySQL Update from 5.6 to 5.7

A backup of phpBB through the ACP can be used and restored on a newer database version. I speak from experience.
