according to 'where' in your phpBB files you put the 'mail_digests.php' do this: open a browser window type into the address bar: http://www.yourdomain.xxx/phpBB2/mail_digests.php be sure you have your options for receiving the digest set to 'Yes' to include your own posts AND 'No' as far as since y...

I have done some reading here but it I think it would be easiest if someone could tell me if it will work for what I want to do. What I am wanting to have happen is all useers of a group get an e-mail anytime there is a new post in their groups section on the forums! If you only want a *notice* sen...

Where do i find this?? INSERT INTO phpbb_config ( config_name, config_value ) VALUES ('topics_on_index', '10'); MNwaterfowl... what that is telling you to do is to go into the phpBB2 database for your forum. I think a pristine install has 28 or 29 tables within the database. Each table has a differ...

according to how each user sets up their digest options and choose the 'forums' to receive from. the digest doesn't send as soon as a post is made, that is why you can individualize your cron job to 1x an hour, 24/7. If the user has chosen the digest to be sent at 1 hour intervals IF there are new p...

the problem may be that you are possibly logging in too often under that i.d.? try changing that i.d.'s option to 'no' for showing new posts since last log-in, set the delivery to 1 hour. and be sure that i.d. is 'subscribed' to 'all' forums available. be sure you make your test posts in a forum tha...

I know this may sound like a stupid question to ask, but, are there posts being made to the forum/board that the digest is for? Or are the digests totally blank? Even if no posts to report you should get content in the digest stating that there are no posts to send along with a table showing the dig...

I just *attempted* upgrading from 2.0.11 to 2.0.13 using the Code Changes thing by Acyd Burn. Our board has quite a few MOD's and this looked like the best choice. However, after I had made all the modifications to all the files listed, uploaded the 'update_to_latest.php' file into a created 'instal...

I'm finding that my new web host offers a pretty easy to use cron tool inside its control panel. I would check to see what yours offers. In addition some support GET so that simplifies the process. Here's a screenshot/gif of the cron tool/cp that my host uses.... http://dawnsistersweyr.org/images/c...
