Put simply find the images and overwrite them. You can right click on the medic signs to find the folder that the images are stored in.. eg. /templates/subSilver/images/ folder_new.gif When viewing a forum have a look at the very bottom for the legend of what each icon means this will help you find ...

When it refers to going into templates/subsilver this is the folders that your forum uses and where the files that make up your forum are stored. In the same way that you edit your website you can edit the files which make your forum.. If you have a local copy of your website then open that folder.....

Another way (i wouldn't say a better way) is to use the {FORUM_NAME} variable..

and just make sure that the image exists with the same name as the forum.

Perhaps you could use the blank page template to create your new page.. but edit it to open a copy of page_header.php which would use a custom template file with the header designed how you wanted it (Just like the admin panel).

You will have to find out what your databse is called so that you can get the database name field filled in.. do you have access via phpMyAdmin etc?

In IE each page/favourite is treated seperately.. so if you add say the homepage to your favourites it will display the icon (once opened from the favourites menu) but once you navigate away (into the forum) then the pages shown aren't considered as a favourite so it doesn't display.
