How can I change the database from InnoDB > MyISAM ?

snitz made it InnoDB and now phpbb3.0.2 wont upgrade for some reason, it just times out (its not a server issue)

Just doing an upgrade for someone, and the most curious thing is happening on www.mydomain/forum/install/database_update.php it just hangs on this screen? http://i328.photobucket.com/albums/l350/websponge/update.jpg whats more, why is it saying mysql(i) ? I didnt install a sql lite?? it hangs here a...

I had the ALICE bot for phpbb2, you could create your own AIML files, I made one for my games forum and it was outstanding! people loved it,

cant wait to fiddle with alice again although my bot was called Scooby, he was a dog...

why not take a complete copy of the database and use it for the other board, and just delete all topics and posts, that way you have a blank forum with all your copied users? its what I did

if I set this to yes, will it help with all the logout / redirection issues, myself and a few others are having?

Mine is set to no at the moment, what exactly does this do? (yes I have read the knowledge base before you ask)

I did have the correct cookie domain, I only changed the cookie name,

then it keeps logging people out, even after they clear out thier cookies and history

I dont think it is a PC issue, I have had the same issues, from 2 different pc`s, and different browsers,

some can login some cant. one member at another forum, has only ever been able to stay logged in for a few minutes, and everyone else is fine.
