Hi GlennP!

Although not based on a timer, this mod might be the answer you're looking for. It will inform a poster attempting to edit a post that's been replied to, that this is not allowed. You can find the mod in question here:

  • Disallow editing replied posts

Hope this helps,

Hi jaymaster! All mods that I know of are based on the default "SubSilver" theme. You'll have to find the corresponding files from your theme and make the changes manually. I'm afraid there's no quick solution for this. Also, I'm not going to take for granted that you're referring to this mod, so yo...

What you're looking for can be found in "overall_header.tpl" located in ../templates/subsilver or (style in use)/... Do a search starting at the top with this keyword -> {L_REGISTER} and then this one -> {L_LOGIN_LOGOUT}. I propose you comment them out, not delete them... just in case. Hope this hel...

Hi chrisinatl! You'll need a mod for that functionality. There's one here: Easy Admin Topic Notifier [/url] which also refers to this one: Forum Notification [/url] and... lastly but not leastly -> your salvation in the MOD's Development forum as a beta: Notify ADMIN of all posts [/url] Don't be shy...

Hi jllunell,

Remove them... completely? or hide them unless you're logged in? Could you be more detailed about your intentions?

It's in the code tag above fafur. For example, open overall_header.tpl and do a search for -> /* Form elements */, and that should bring you right to it.

Hi thehpmc,

Bill Latham has summed it up pretty well. There's also another recent thread about this here:

  • Can ADMIN Read Private messages?

and here:

Hi fafur! As Killer_X suggested and to be more specific, you can edit "overall_header.tpl" and modify these particular classes: /* Form elements */ input, textarea, select { color : {T_BODY_TEXT}; font: normal {T_FONTSIZE2}px {T_FONTFACE1}; border-color : {T_BODY_TEXT}; } /* The text input fields bac...

Hi pookieguy, your DB is MySQL and the phpbb2 installation process will create the needed tables for your forum (within the default schema "phpbb" or whatever you decided to use as a table prefix). Just make sure MySQL is installed properly and available (service is started) and your ready. The MySQ...

Hi josefbugman!

Could you be more detailed about the problem. For example, none of the bbcode tags work or only a few?

Any error messages when you try to use them?

Do you have mods installed?

Any bbcode mods?

How did you upgrade? Code changes only from 0.16 to 0.17?

You can try a fixed value for the left-most and right-most columns, and make sure these value are the same for the "Last 15 active topics" section at the bottom. For example, the first column (left-most) could be set at width="60", and the last column (right-most) could be set at width="200". Then, ...

Hi Americas Reject,

The file you're looking for is "viewtopic.php" and do a search (from the top) for -> " $report_img ". That's where the image is defined.

Hope this helps,
Wolf
