I don't believe you need to go that far... yet! There is an option you can check within the "Administrator" to use old passwords (under "Start-up variables"). http://www3.sympatico.ca/ida.demelo/oldpass.jpg NOTE: Restart the database server after this change. I would also recheck folder permissions ...

In my experience Fofosu, this is very likely a user and password problem with MySQL. You might want to try this simple possible fix. 1] Download and install the "MySQL Administrator" here (from the Graphical category): MySQL downloads I strongly recommend downloading the "Query Browser" also. 2] Lau...

Ok Wo1f man or anybody else who wishes to reply to this. Am i right in thinking i can use Acyd Burns '[2.0.13] phpBB 2.0.13 to 2.0.14 Code Changes' to upgrade from 2.0.13 to 14 as a definate alternative to using the phpbb upgrade uploads? And this will work with modded and unmodded boards? If so I ...

Made the upgrade from 2.0.13 to 2.0.14 in approximately 15 minutes on a heavely modded board. I used the "code changes" upgrade package (just like setting up a mod), which is not to be confused with the "changed files" or the "patch files" package. For those interested, you can get it here: [2.0.13]...

Good job Aiencran! Got it up and working in no time, after installing the "Global Announcement" mod. Very nice addition to my mods collection. And, I do like the "organized" look. Thank you!

Thanks for the info asinshesq! I've posted one already (in another thread) and I haven't been "flagged" by the mods, so it's all good. Here's the end result I've been mentionning: http://www3.sympatico.ca/ida.demelo/egosearch.jpg The "Edit Draft" button is not an image, but rather HTML, W3C style. A...

Re: W01f: the answer, I think

...Now, for another "new" scenario! Have you noticed that when a member creates a draft but has never posted before, the draft will NOT show up in the search result (by clicking on "Your posts and drafts")?... Never tested that, and it's a good question. It is possible that a person with absolutely...

Fantastic mod asinshesq! It's a great additional feature for my board. I also like the potential of using drafts as templates. I do have an issue concerning the layout of the "egosearch" which I hope you can help me with and also with the mechanics of a draft as a new topic. Let me begin with the se...

Another flawless upgrade (using EasyMod) and created a temporary install folder off the root for the "update_to_latest.php" file. Forum is moded (about 10 of them).

Many thanks to the PHPBB team and Acid for all your hard work and dedication. It is appreciated!
