Deleted the first install, downloaded 2.1a, and it worked just fine. Extra users deleted. Thankyou!

A very nice MOD for this purpose is Prune User Posts. Installing it consists of uploading three files to your server and there´s no editing involved. I downloaded it and the Install text file says copy admin/admin_prune_user_posts.php to admin/admin_prune_user_posts.php templates/subSilver/admin/ad...

Thanks, I read thru that thread but that tool seems to be for pruning posts, no mention of using it to delete users.

As for your question, try the admin toolkit I uploaded the file and edited it as directed for my passwords. However, when I access the toolkit.php from my browser and enter my pw to log in, I get Your browser must be set to accept cookies from the www.my domain.com to use the PHPBB Admin ToolKit. P...

Deleting Users - better way?

The only way I can find to delete a user is to go to "User Admin", "Management", type the name in, click "Look up user", then delete. :(

I've just discovered 25 fake/spam users that signed up in the last week or so. PLEASE tell me there's a more efficient way to delete users?

keeping OFF of search engines?

I searched on this topic and the replies I found all dealt with either how to GET listed on search engines or how to fight spam bots. My main page is here: http://www.keangenes.com/ On that page I have the meta robot tag "index, nofollow" because I want this page, and this page only, to be picked up...

delete thread all at once?

Is there an option to delete a whole thread all at once instead of having to delete each individual post within it? I can't seem to find it if the option exists.

Thanks, Matt. I wasn't sure if something needed to be deleted from all three files to remove the "under 13" part, or just from one. I'm ok with the "over 13" part - I got that changed and it directs to the normal registration input page. It's the "I don't agree/I'm a weido" link that I'm not sure ho...

changing registration page text & links

http://www.keangenes.com/phpBB2/profile.php?mode=register I want to remove the "under 13" text & link, and direct the "weirdo" link to my own .html page that is not part of the forum script. Following is what I have now, but I don't understand the correlation between these three files so don't know ...

That's how I've been doing it but some of these threads go on for many pages making for a lot to scroll thru to find the one post you want again. I think I'll just copy & paste the posts I want. Thanks,

Col
