It's legal to pay someone to help modify a phpbb for your own use, but you can't sell the software itself in any form. Even if you think you've changed it enough from it's original functionality to sell it as a psuedo-new product, if it's built on this software, that's a no-no. Hope that helps. :P e...

You can use any graphics program from mspaint to photoshop. The ranks are just small, custom made images. They can be whatever you want and how big you want. There's nothing really special about them.

Ohh, the graphics. You can make them with any paint/graphics program. There are also premade sets of ranks available on many websites, such as this one or on phpbb's own site here.

Here's a script I used to use to check for open proxies. It can be a little slow, so, if I were to ever use it again, I'd add database checking and logging to speed it up. I mean both open proxies and valid IPs would be added to a table and marked. Then, at the beginning of the checks, it would chec...

Swizec, you probably have javascript off. They use javascript onMouseOver to change the image. They got this effect by editing their template, Dovern. I don't think I've seen an official mod like this, but it wouldn't be difficult to duplicate. <img src="templates/fisubsilver/images/lang_english/ico...

There are several mods that will allow html in posts for certain people. If you added one of them, you could insert flash files right in a post and it would show correctly.

soon as they refresh the cookie they have on the comp will remake that row

Ah, didn't think of that. That's why it worked for me, I don't use the auto-login cookies.

Thanks! That's perfect. :D Not to be a pain, but is there a way of detecting the full string? [dice] 1d4 = 213423423 [/dice], where 1d4 and 213423423 are variables. :) Emanuel The way to do that is using regular expressions. I don't have the dice mod so I don't know all the bbcode combinations, but...
