Re: Change registration text?

I've stuck what I changed, do not you see it? Yes but what part of that have you changed? Did you change every single word of it or only part of it? For example tell us I changed 'moderators have the right to edit posts' to 'moderators do not have the right to edit posts' I have probably said wrong...

Re: Change registration text?

Whatever file(s) you changed upload a clean copy and then delete the "production" folder from the cache folder. I always take an extra file that is untouched to upload as original if it were going wrong. But I want to make some changes to that file and have tried several times without success, is i...

Re: Change registration text?

You haven't answered this yet Which bit of that have you edited? You need to say you changed this line of text in to that line of text and show us exactly what you changed. I've stuck what I changed, do not you see it? But now it's not even possible to recover anymore. Has uploaded the original fil...

Re: Change registration text?

Show us what you have changed. Post the code of the file where you changed it. It was working before you changed it so it must be something to do with what you changed so that's the bit we need to see. This: 'TERMS_OF_USE_CONTENT' => '"%1$s" (diğer anlamda "biz", "tarafımız", "bizim", "%1$s", "%2$s...

We don't know what you did so just do it and show us what you did if it breaks.
I've written what I did, removed some texts and the problem that occurred after it was that you could not log in or register. What's exactly what you want to see?

Re: Change registration text?

What happens if I delete the entire file so it is not available at all? The board will break. It's there for a reason. Now I have restored the forum as it was before, now there is no problem logging in or registering So does that mean you no longer want to make the change? Just do what you want to ...

Re: Change registration text?

Same as Jim said. But if it breaks the board post the code you changed and we can hopefully tell you why it's broken. The problem was that you could not log in or register. We know that. But it was broken because of the edit you made. So if it breaks post up the language code that you changed so we...

Re: Change registration text?

Assuming you mean the Terms of Use text, that's in language/en/ucp.php: 'TERMS_OF_USE_CONTENT' => 'By accessing “%1$s” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “%1$s”, “%2$s”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then pl...

You did not have to restore the database. You just upload an unedited file clear the cache and it will work again.

Just post the code showing the change you made. You probably made a mistake or it's what Crizzo says.

Have fixed it now but how do I change the text?
