1) What you posted was not a a webserver log but a different type of log that would not provided any information on how phpBB was hacked. 2) If you are unwilling to provide the developers with the information to find a possible exploit. Then there isn't much they can do about fixing it. What you are...

No one is going to give you the details for security reasons. (i.e. We don't know if you will take the information and use it to hack into someone else's board who hasn't updated yet.)

The phpBB Group does not host any other website outside of the phpbb.com domain, nor does the phpBB Group control how other parties use the phpBB software.

Optimize the images you are using. That could mean converting GIF images to PNG or running an image optimizer that will strip out any unused data from the image file. Other options also include switching to a lighter weight template (i.e. one that doesn't use as much HTML code) and linking to an ext...

Have you set the width plus margins, padding or boarder in your stylesheets? If so, have you taken into account IE's broken box model?

I believe there is a text align BBCode MOD in the MOD database that allows you to align text left, right, center or justify. Anyways, it would be much better then allowing HTML directly on the board.

The only known security problems are some minor path disclosers, an ability to see hidden users and I believe that is about it. However, if you have been hacked before while using a previous version of phpBB, it is best to change all of your passwords in case the hacker grabbed a copy of your databa...

I don't think that is what bankruptcy should be for. Bankruptcy should be a legal mechanism to offer the debtor protection from his creditors while the debtor is able to reorganize his finances and eventually pay off his debts, it is not suppose to expunge the debts entirely--which is how most peopl...

First of all, how is the hacker getting the password hash? All of the 2.0.13 hack threads I've paid attention to have been boards that have upgrade do to being previously hacked before from a known exploit. It is entirely possible that these re-hacks are from where the hacker either created their ow...

I'm assuming it is the color scheme settings. It depends on which style sheet you are using. If you are using the inline style sheet located in overall_header.tpl, then the settings from the ACP will be applied the template file is parsed by the server. However, if you link to an external style shee...

There was a feature request tracker set up over at SourceForge some time ago and ran for a couple of years. But sometime during the middle of last year, they closed down any additional feature requests for 3.0--then still being referred to as 2.2.

I believe Paul did mention that the 2.x line is feature frozen. In other words, no new features, unless they are to enhance security, will be added. Such features added since the original release include visual confirmation and an update notifier.

1) Do not resurrect a dead topic.

2) Do not drag the topic back off topic.

3) A right directly enumerated under the Constitution cannot be rescinded without another amendment, no matter if the original pretext for granting that right continues to exist or not.
