Ok, this time I tried putting the CSS bit: #newtopic{ height: 54px; width: 84px; text-indent: 10000px; overflow: hidden; background: url(/images/lang_english/post.gif) top left no-repeat; display: block; } directly into overall_header, viewforum_body and subblack.css, because i am not sure where to ...

Good job I don't want to use it, but I guess he was only trying to help :) You don't happen to know how to get the CSS rollover to work? It's not just cosmetic, I need them for functionality on my site.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I really want to use CSS rollovers as opposed to javascript ones, as I really need the speed. Currently I am testing on the bottom new topic button on the view forum page. At the moment my rollover.css looks like this: #newtopic{ height: 54px; width: 84px; text-indent:...

Just put the whole folder in your templates folder on the site, next to subSilver.
The best way to do this is usually a direct FTP connection to your webspace.

Help with CSS Button Rollovers?

I would like to convert most of the buttons on my forum to have rollover effects, to bring it into line with the rest of my site. Specifically I want them to be CSS rollovers, as they are instant and easier to code. The kind I am using can be found here . Which file do I import the CSS file into, an...

But I am using subBlack, not subSilver. This is my theme_info.cfg: <?php // // phpBB 2.x auto-generated theme config file for subBlack // Do not change anything in this file! // $subBlack[0]['template_name'] = "subBlack"; $subBlack[0]['style_name'] = "subBlack"; $subBlack[0]['head_stylesheet'] = "su...

Thanks, Kevin, but what do I do where I have

Code: Select all

'L_WHOSONLINE_ADMIN' => sprintf($lang['Admin_online_color'], '', ''),
	'L_WHOSONLINE_MOD' => sprintf($lang['Mod_online_color'], '', ''),
I don't have any of that span stuff.

Thing is, my page_header doesn't look like that, Kevin. Here is mine: = '4.0.4pl1' && ( strstr($useragent,'compatible') || strstr($useragent,'Gecko') ) ) { if ( extension_loaded('zlib') ) { ob_start('ob_gzhandler'); } } else if ( $phpver > '4.0' ) { if ( strstr($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODIN...

Hello. I found this thread, which answers my question perfectly, but unfortunately it is 3 years old, so I figured I'd start a new thread rather than resurrect that one. Anyway, it seems that the information given there is no longer releveant, so I was wondering if anyone could just give me the up t...
