Re: create table in phpbb

You also have to put the {TEXT} token between the two tags, so you can actually put some content in it.

Re: create table in phpbb

Well, there is no pre-made BBCode for that.

You'd have to create Custom BBCodes for the table elements in phpBB, that is for example:

Code: Select all

[table] to <table>
[row] to <tr>
[cell] to <td>
then create the table like this:

Code: Select all

[table]
[row][cell]A[/cell][cell]B[/cell][/row]
[/table]

Re: diacritic

Try this: - open phpMyAdmin and check the encoding of the phpbb_post_text table, remember or copy that value and open lang_main.php on your phpBB2 board, set the ENCODING line to the encoding you copied. Make sure the board is disabled while you do this. - then run a normal conversion to phpBB3, the...

Unfortunately we do not have one, as there is no translator/maintainer for it.

Re: Redirection after log-in

I'm not sure about the first question, try asking in the MODs discussion forum (in the customisation database).

As for the second one, don't worry about it much. Where do you host? You might be on a Windows machine which does not use CHMOD at all.

Re: diacritic

Does the database work for the phpBB2 forum? You might be just opening the file in the wrong encoding.

Pracuje ta databáze pro dvojkové fórum? Možná ji jen otevíráš se špatným nastavením kódování.

Re: "Column contains null values" error in PostgreSQL 7.*

Hi, this is probably a bug in phpBB, you can notify the developers about it by posting it to the Bug Tracker . I haven't found a tracker issue about it, so it would be great if you posted it. We do have a lot to fix on non-MySQL systems in the database abstraction layers we have, this is mostly due ...

Re: Redirect doesent work properly :(

Open styles/static/template/overall_header.html and find: <h1><a href="{U_INDEX}" title="{L_INDEX}">{SITENAME}</a></h1> change it to: <h1><a href="/" title="{L_INDEX}">{SITENAME}</a></h1> To apply changes, purge the board's cache. You can do this by clicking the appropriate button on the index page ...

Re: Redirection after log-in

You could use this MOD: http://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/p ... _redirect/

It also skips the other redirection pages, like after posting.

Re: How do search engines view php

PHP is a programming language. Web applications in PHP usually serve HTML (only filled with dynamic data), just like a static site without any PHP. The answer is that they look at your site like any other one on the internet. Nobody really knows how search engines analyze keywords on your site, it's...

Do you want to put an image into your signature? You can use the [img] tag, an ordinary BBCode.

Re: Not able to open ./cache/data_global.php

Looks like your host or someone else moved your board to another server. He managed to do it very poorly, loosing permissions on files and also upgrading the database without notifying you.

When you're at it, these files should be chmodded to 777:
  • cache/
  • store/
  • files/
  • images/avatars/upload/
