Re: Forum Permissions

The phpBB [img] BBCode doesn't have any parameters. You'd have to create a custom BBCode that has them.

Re: $db->sql_build_array problem

Variables defined outside of a method/function are not available in it. Make sure you read this: http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.variables.scope.php For example, this would produce a PHP Notice about echoing an uninitialized variable: <?php $a = 1; /* global scope */  function test() {      ec...

Re: Problem with mysql?

It should be: $sql = 'SELECT topic_title FROM  ' . TOPICS_TABLE . '                         WHERE topic_id = ' . $threadid . ' AND forum_id = ' . $forumid;  Make sure $threadid and $forumid are integers if you get them from user input. Also the query processing could be much simpler: $sql = 'SELECT ...

Re: Changing Domain Name

How long has it been since you set up the domain in cPanel? Maybe the DNS records haven't been refreshed at your ISPs.

Re: REad Only Access without loging in

When you assign permissions to the Guests group, it is as if you assigned permissions to every unlogged user on the board.

Basically going to Groups forum permissions in the ACP is enough. You'll select the Guests group, all applicable forums and set a Read Only Access role.

Nobody has submitted one yet. Somebody would have to finish the translation first.

How long does that query take? Could you screenshot the explain table for that query?

Re: Showing a Div on redirect only

There's no need to run $_GET[... through request_var() or sanitize it here. I only check if it is non-empty, there is no way that could be misused.

As for the redirect, it should be:

Code: Select all

redirect(append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}portal." . $phpEx . "?logout_auth=1"));

Re: Style Error

Yeah, but unless you typed in the URL yourself, you had to click a link or submit a form to get there. It'd help if we knew where.

I'm not sure, I don't know the MOD. You can find the MOD in our Customisation database and look up the supported versions.

Re: Please help with issue

The only page that seems slow to me is the index page. What about you? Did you make any changes to the index page? You could try this as well, uncomment these two lines in config.php (delete the two slashes): // @define('DEBUG', true); // @define('DEBUG_EXTRA', true);  At the footer of the page, you...

Re: 2 Gig Data Base Size, Notmal? Any way to reduce it?

Unfortunately, mysql fulltext can only be used on MyISAM tables...

I wouldn't actually change unless the phpBB search system has any issues. It works pretty well actually...

Re: General Error

The database is restored and does not contain traces of the MOD, however the files do.

Look at the install file of the MOD and undo all changes you made.
