Re: question if anyone might be able to offer idea/help on where text gets displayed

This should do it, in content.css,

Line 750:

Code: Select all

.leftsided.subsilver-topic-title {
    width: 77%;
}
Change to:

Code: Select all

.leftsided.subsilver-topic-title {
	width: 77%;
	float: right;
}

Re: Need help changing a few colors please!

Go into your stylesheet css and find: .button:hover, .button:focus { color: #753017; background-color: #9b6b4e; border-color: #9b6b4e; } Change background-color to just background, then add: text-shadow: none; change the font colour from #753017 to #ffffff So it looks like: .button:hover, .button:fo...

Re: Are page views a reliable statistic? ;-)

Well right now apparently 700 people are online. It's important to remember, bots and things make up a percentage, Some people may look at a topic and then go back to it later, or have it set as a bookmark and it to open the forum and navigate to the page they want. In short, on a forum that doesn't...

Re: Finding & removing BBCode for font size?

I thought that this was done by going into... Styles --> Your style name --> Template --> posting_buttons.html

Remember that when you make any changes, the cache needs to be purged... ACP --> Main page --> Purge the cache

It's also wise to make a copy of the file before editing it.

Re: Any way to make the poll up/down arrows bigger?

I'll have a count, i'm sure there is nothing in the UCP that gives an option for a member to choose more than 1, there may be in the MCP though, i don't really count the ACP as no matter how i edit the style it doesn't affect that, The reason for me asking was that it seemes a bit much to edit the a...

Re: Any way to make the poll up/down arrows bigger?

Hey thanks for the reply

I was re colouring the silver quick login / full editor / submit buttons and made them a couple of px bigger.
Changing the core files is way beyond me, am i right in thinking that the selector is only used 3 times ? (poll options - poll days - sticky topic days)

Any way to make the poll up/down arrows bigger?

Re: how to register & post on forum

It looks like you've deleted the first forum and post, if there isn't a button to make a new post - you will need to set the permissions in the ACP,
