This looks like incorrectly setup cookies. There is a fix in my signature for this - just follow the instructions included with it and you'll be back up and running.

So are you trying to go for a fresh install without the MODifications etc you have installed? This is quite simple. Back up your config.php file and any template or image directories you wish to retain. Download a fresh set of phpBB files. Delete your existing files and replace with the fresh set. R...

Did you install this yourself or did the host do it for you? You need to upload the overall_footer.tpl file and you will be fine. If they installed it for you then you will need to contact them.

Just to clear up any possible confusion with Steve's instructions. You will be uploading all the forum files, your back up of cofig.php will be needed to access your forum again but you will not need to install anything. No need to upload the contrib or install directories.

Hmmm...

Have you added any MODs to that file? Try uploading a fresh copy of the file from the phpBB download to test to see if that works. If it does then a MOD edit to the file may be to blame.
