Re: Email not working

The error speaks book I can say
error:1408F10B:SSL routines:ssl3_get_record:wrong version number at [ROOT]/includes/functions_messenger.php line 1188<br />
Looks like a stream socket issue by your side, try asking your host (about SSL version number).

Re: Wanted: phpbb3 developer needed to continue project

After a constructive discussion with the applicant, we have come to a consensus failure.
So the position remains free unless he decides otherwise.

Thanks.

Re: Custom Profile Field visibility (bug)?

Modify the text is the way to go.

I have had the time to look at the code and it is very clear that's it the intended behaviour, shortly: the description is wrong.

On a side note: the user can always see and modify, in UCP, its CPF.. if allowed.

Re: $phpbb_container from migration file

I am under the impression you should globalise the container since you are inside a custom function, worths to give it a try.

global $phpbb_container;

Re: $phpbb_container from migration file

In fact ext.php runs before of migrations. That explains why $this->container is available also in migrations. You can also globalise it within a custom function. The issue is that the custom services aren't loaded in the container till the migrations are done AFAIK, ie.: the extension is installed.

Re: $phpbb_container from migration file

We are talking about a custom function which uses the same logic (a copy) of your helper. I mean the parts you need to.

Instead: I'd go for my suggestion as per the above point #2, populate the DB on install then use the helper class as usual to update it (via cron I think).

Re: $phpbb_container from migration file

1 - Just call a custom function within the migration which uses the same logic of your helper. On revert_data() the step will be to remove the file(s) from the store folder using the $filesystem = $this->phpbb_container->get('filesystem'); . public function update_data() { return [ ['custom', [[$thi...

Re: $phpbb_container from migration file

Looks like the service hasn't be loaded yet, so no that's not the right way to do what you want... which BTW is not clear.

Re: $phpbb_container from migration file

$blah = $this->container->get('vendor.name.service); doesn't work?
