Another Attachment Issue

When I attach files in a post they look fine when I click submit. However, if I go to edit the post and remove or start shifting the positions of the attachments, things go haywire. I will try to show what happens with screen shots: First I drag the files into the post and place them: 2018-05-21 01....

Re: Attachment Issue

If you have those codes in your template file(s) then either you are not using prosilver (in which case you should refer the problem to the place where you got your style) or if you are using prosilver then something has modified your template file(s) You're way ahead of me David. The code hasn't b...

That file in the phpBB download DOES NOT have the stated errors, indeed I do not know if it would work at all if it did.
Okay. So are you saying the problem is still not solved?

Re: Attachment Issue

I think I fixed it. In case someone else comes across this topic, as I did - the fix was that in the overall_footer.html , several of the brackets { and } were in the html as %7B and %7D , which obviously led to some loading errors, specifically with javascript. Fixing that addressed a couple other...

They are stored on your own server, and for any more information you will have to ask the Extensions author. I have not had any experience with it.
Thank you. I will do that.

Re: Safe Image hosting?

How about using the Gallery extension. That way people can upload images, and then link them into their posts using the image url within [img] tags Interesting. So 2 questions: 1. Where are the Gallery images stored? I thought it used a 3rd party image host, but maybe I am wrong. 2. If I linked to ...

Re: Safe Image hosting?

My advice would be to buy more space on your hosting account and host your own images/attachments - that way you are total control Indeed, a user at my host asked how much he could store with the default 25GB on their “Starter Package” (first year free) account. [/size] It's what I want to do, host...

Re: Safe Image hosting?

My advice would be to buy more space on your hosting account and host your own images/attachments - that way you are total control. Nobody knows how long a third party will be in existence or how long it will be before they change their T&Cs I have "unmetered" space on my hosting account. And by le...

Safe Image hosting?

My question is about using imgbb as an image host and connecting it to my board. Apparently, according to them, it's possible: https://imgbb.com/mod The thing is, I do not want to subject my board to the problems that postimage (imgur etc) has caused on so many forums with it's sudden dropping of ev...

Re: A sign-up sheet ext

There is no option when setting up a poll to collect names Nor should there be, what you’re suggesting is data gathering. A poll should be a poll, yes or no, not about who votes for what imo. GDPR may be interested in that idea. Right. I'm not suggesting there should be. I was just acknowledging th...

Re: A sign-up sheet ext

.. <snip>.. in that case, if above extension doesn't fit, then you have to wait for another solution. I think at the end all you get is a total number of responses. There is no option when setting up a poll to collect names. The extension GanstaZ linked you to does, at the present stage, what you w...

Re: A sign-up sheet ext

Maybe this is what you are searching for Participate That looks like it might be it. But what about this: Note: This extension is in development. Installation is only recommended for testing purposes and is not supported on live boards. This extension will be officially released following phpBB 3.1...

Re: A sign-up sheet ext

I don't remember how current poll works, haven't used it for awhile, but wasn't there a future that shows who has voted (create 1 topic add a poll, when event has ended, close/change a poll)? Seems that you can't see the ones who have voted. Well.. in that case, if above extension doesn't fit, then...
