You would need a mod...I would suggest using the PHP-Nuke portal since it has tons of mods and such for you as well as phpbb integrated.

How would make the code not visible change anything?

you do have SSL...now thats quite odd. If you go into myphpadmin and delete the content out of the smtp table and the secure table that might help.

now when you click that does it try to go to that page or just it just go back to the initial index page?

You didnt actually enable cookies...they are enabled automatically. What you did was enabled secure cookies which uses SSL to secure it. Unless you have a server with an SSL installed I am not sure how you will be able to get back in. The best way would prolly be deleting the forum and starting over...

I am not aware of a way to recover just one topic...easiest would be to restart it.

it sounds like your admin/index.php has been removed or corrupted...first, when you go to the bottom what url shows in your browser at the bottom... is it something like this? http://www.yoursite.com/admin/index.php ... i2424sh21a

my previous suggestions are about as broad as you can go...with general terms you dont have that many options.

wherever the index.php page is located thats where the other files will be looked for. Why do you want to seperate them anyway? I would suggest making a seperate subfolder to place the forum in.

yoursite.com/forum/index.php and keep the files all together there.

this is quite common actually, have you used phpbb before? When did it start doing this? Are you using phpbb stand alone or a portal such as Nuke?

you installed it on your personal computer? Is the computer to installed it to connected to the net such as a server, or are you talking about a hosting account. I dont see why you would get that error with subSilver installed as its just a basic theme so it doesnt have any way it would stop the log...
