Re: Changing mass email template.

please post here ( copy paste ) the exact message you are trying to send. there may be something in the message that is crashing php or that mod security is stopping. and I have no idea for sure what the developers here use but I do know that the majority of them recommend notepad++ ( notice that is...

Re: Moving from root

create the new directory named whatever you want. then, using your ftp, simply highlight all of the phpbb files and drag them and drop them into that new folder. you are done. well, if you have "force url" set to yes in the admin panel then you will need to change the path to reflect the new directo...

Re: Changing mass email template.

I just did the exact same edits and it worked just fine. use your backup copy of the email and try again. use a good plain text editor. not any type of wysiwyg editor even in text mode because they will often add bits of code to the file that you can't see. use notepad++ or editpad lite etc. not not...

Re: List Active members only in pubic Members list

yes, the extensions that you get from github are not packaged the same way as the official ones from here are. the best thing to do is unzip it on your computer. open the composer.json file in your text editor and look at the top lines there will be the correct path listed there. and, the correct fo...

Re: adding soial sites buttons to the profile area

add this to the bottom of the common.css file: .social-btns { text-align: center; } if you are going to keep creating new ways to change the original code you should at least learn to understand how basic phpbb styles work. the html files have the layout and the html code. the css files have the ins...

Re: [3.2.5]Limit attachment size by extension group

remember, just because one or one hundred users think it should be "fixed"/changed does not mean it ever will be. and if it is decided that it should be addressed, it could take a couple of versions before it would even happen. if it is not a major bug or a security issue the developers may not thin...

it is already at the top of the page in the form of the "breadcrumbs".

Re: im getting this error

kevin was talking about changing the php version on your host. you are thinking of some way to install php "manually" to bypass the error. that is not possible. phpbb 3.2.7 requires a php version higher or lower than what your host is providing. yes, they can offer you a different php version. if th...

Re: AH01071: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught OAuth

that is from some extension that I guess allows you to login using the wordpress login or something. did you reinstall that extension? did you install your wordpress on the new server along with your phpbb? if not, then you will probably need to either install both of those things or access your dat...

Re: General Error SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

bit of advice. don't hire anyone to work on your phpbb ( or wordpress for that matter ) without doing some research on them. whoever you hired from fiver apparently did not know what they were doing. not saying don't hire someone from fiver etc. but ask them about their experience with phpbb, come h...
