Re: Looking for assistance putting images on Index page

don't use tables just use divs and yes the bottom of the overall_header.html file.

you can then put the css for your html in one of the css files, doesn't really matter which one but the bottom common.css would work.

Re: Why no override files in phpbb and css question

also, this is basically what is already in place with custom styles, child styles and custom css files. it would always be better to just create a child style for your custom changes to the css and/or the html. your child style need only have the html files that have changes and you can create a cus...

Re: Control of Apperance

I use firefox 60. one of the main purposes of the inspect element is to see the css that controls it different sections of the web page. I do believe that any and all of the inspectors no matter the browser, would have that available. YOu probably just dont have yours setup properly to show it. robert

and/or just install it and test it your self. One of the great things about extensions is that it either works or it doesn't and if it doesn't you simply uninstall it and try something else. remember, as long as you have backups you are only a few clicks away from a full recovery if things go sidewa...

Re: Looking for assistance putting images on Index page

you edit the overall_header.html file but you don't use tables, you use divs.
also, there is a extension for advertising that will do it all automatically for you via the admin panel.

Re: The Question Has to Be Asked ...

I have asked this a couple of times. I think it should be removed from the admin panel as the recommended method of update.
not saying it should not be available for those that do code edits for some reason, just not the recommended method.

Re: Update from phpBB 3.2.2 to 3.2.3 - database does not go offline

the problem with setting that message to users is that when you are using the proper update method of file replacement, that message will not show up while you are deleting the old files and uploading the new ones etc. once you have finished the file replacement the database update only takes a coup...

Re: Why no override files in phpbb and css question

the updates do not touch your custom styles at all. of course if you delete the styles folder during updates then you will need to reupload your custom style after the file replacement/update. if there are any changes to the style files that your custom style contains then you would need to do them ...

what is the exact name of your wow draenor style? I only find pbwow3 going all the way back to phpbb 3.0 the current version of pbwow3 does not contain any of the files you said you compared with the prosilver versions. it inherits all those files from prosilver. also, it is for phpbb 3.2.2 but can ...

that is only half of the box you should be seeing. I can't figure out what setting you have wrong to not be able to see the css on the right hand side of that box. anyway, don't worry about it. using your ftp, download the colours.css file open it in your text editor. find that css that I posted abo...

Re: Massive Amount of Users

admin panel, posting tab

post settings

topics per page

it is probably set to 25
change it to 500

if that is too many then go back and pick a lower number until you get one that will work.

give this a try and see what happens.
