Re: Disable emoji delivery via cdn.jsdelivr.net

first time I have heard of someone wanting to do this. usually people want a way to help their users post images hosted elsewhere. they usually want to do this to save the bandwidth. by forcing members to only use the attahments you are forcing yourself to host any and all images that get posted and...

Re: Cannot send or receive board email (gmail)

gmail has never worked if you set smtp to no. you have always had to choose yes for smtp to use gmail and fill it the proper settings etc. however, the best way to avoid all of these problems is do NOT use gmail or any other web based email account for the board. many, if not most, of the hosting co...

Re: one of my users IP adress shows the same as mine

what is your IP address showing to be on any given day? IP addresses often change daily. the IP you use today could be his tomorrow and someone else's the next day. that is why there is no point to worrying about IP addresses at all.

Re: Notification Email not working for new posts?

HI ALL Can someone test this for me? I'm finding that with Beta5 and even the CVS version has a problem that emails are not given when new topics are created, but only when replies are made. Seems to be a bug to me. what is beta5 or DVS version? what does any of that have to do with phpbb? robert

Re: admin access lost

phpbb 3.0 reached EOL ( end of life ) over a year ago. phpbb 3.1 is EOL in about a week. you will need to check with your host to see if they have upgraded their php version to something that your out of date phpbb can't work with. either way, you will most likely need to upgrade to 3.2 to solve you...

Re: the last version 3.1.10?

I doubt anyone will want to do it for free.
if you just want a pink style you can do that yourself with just a few edits to the colours.css file.

If you want all those kitty images /backgrounds etc. that is a lot more work.

Re: Database Update Problem: 3.2.0 to 3.2.2

I would upload all new files again except for the config.php file.
then run the database update again.

apparently you have an incomplete upgrade of the files and of the database.

Is there a way to contain the stylesheets to header and footer only to my included file/header vs. spreading into the phpBB style?
yes, it can be added to the new html files if you wish.

Re: WordPress phpBB Wrap Styling and Responsive

putting all of the html in a separate html file means that any time you work on it you do not have to open the overall_header or _overall_footer files. so, put your wp header html in a file and name it header.html put the wp footer html in a file and name it footer.html. save both of those files to ...

the style (template) copyright is up to the author of the style and or what license he attached to the style. the phpbb copyright can be removed from the overall_footer.html but you can not replace it with a copyright that says you are the creator of phpbb. you do have to leave any and all copyright...
