It "did what is right?" And what was that? Does the Chinese government tell people about the health hazards of smoking? What exactly are they doing to stem the tide of more than a million people dying every year from tobacco-related illnesses?[/quote] 1,306,313,812 = china's population = about less ...

You are still making ridiculous assumptions. You , an American, would be suspicious of the Chinese government. You cannot assume from this that if you had spent your entire life in China, you would be suspicious. I grew up taught by everyone around me that god exists and is the ruler of everything....

I grew up taught by everyone around me that god exists and is the ruler of everything. Yet I had my doubts about his rule and existance. Now, you really think I wouldn't be suspicious about my government being oh so honest? I think don't quite know what you're talking about here. I don't know much ...

That's a hell of an assumption to make for someone who is, in fact, not a chinese citizen, and has not lived his entire life in the Chinese misinformation machine. I lived most of my life in America. Information seems to be quite available there. I am in fact suspicious about how much truth my gove...

You think there's no governmental propoganda in the U.S? People question our government all the time, most of them are called actovists. Because they realize something might be wrong. Just because the government supresses with propoganda doesn't mean people don't know what is right or wrong. The tw...

A choice based on misinformation is not a truly free choice. That's why we have laws against fraudulent misrepresentation. Does china have the internet? Yes, if you ignore the fact that they heavily censor it. I looked it up. If I were a chinese citizen I'd be heavily curious as to weather or not t...

Are you trying to say the worlds just fine darth and that there are absolutely no problems with kids? That they have the utmost respect for adults and the people around them? I'm not seeing things aren't better in some aspects, but I still feel there are problems that should be addressed. Are you d...

If you find that disrespectful then you must have a hell of a time in the real world. I'm quite capable of functioning in the real world. Thanks for your concern. You're welcome. In that sentence it simply means don't comment on what I say. In other words, it means the same thing as "shut up". That...

If the Chinese government is using this as population control, at least the people still do have the choice of weather or not to smoke. A choice based on misinformation is not a truly free choice.
