I know this is an old post, but I found it while searching for information on the same thing... I was curious because another forum I visit has this kind of feature. It has an alert tab that gives notification of new posts in topics or forum categories you are watching showing the topic, along with ...

Starting your own site is the best way go if you dont want to worry about somebody else deciding what you can post. freedom of Expression, Fredom of speech, and all that.

Re: The "Rest of your site"

Most of it’s copy and paste using a proper text editor like Notepad++, see tools list linked previously. You seem to know enough about html to produce your existing page so this should be easy. Have a play with it you can’t do any harm it’s not linked to phpBB in any way it just uses the session an...

Re: The "Rest of your site"

I’m sure if you post in the support section for the pages extension someone will help you with that. Did you look at the KB article I linked to? In ten minutes you can have both the php and html files uploaded and working, you can then take your time editing the html to your liking. Yes, I took a l...

The "Rest of your site"

I am curious as to how many users have a front page that links to their forum, and what program they used to create it.. (Other than Wordpress , weebly, or Joomla etc) I have been trying to find a valid copy of Microsoft office 2016 to try out to replace my ancient 2007 version without luck, and bee...

Re: [3.2][RC] Site Logo

Is it usual for Site Logo to take a fraction of a second after the page loads for it to replace the logo? I see the original PhpBB logo for about a second before it's replaced.

Re: Upgrading from v3.0.11

I remember reading somewhere that upgrading from 3.0 to 3.1 was a major change.
So was going from 3.1 to 3.2
I would do it in steps after disabling all extensions.
I dont know if 3.29/3.3 support upgrading directly from that old of a version.
also don't know what version of PHP your host supports

Re: reCAPTCHA 2.0 is not working because registering scambots

do you have any exclusions set for the user name in the user registration name settings???...
