On your login form for the news section you can have it use the phpbb login?

^^ Very useful if you want to have users use one username throughout your site and have access restricted.

But now how do i have it so if a user returns to the home page and are still logged in they dont have the login box there?

I dont want to sound like a total novice, but unfortunately when it comes to this I am. I want to put that sessions code on the home page of my site (im putting the code before the <head> tags) it just shows as text on the homepage. What am i doing wrong?

On the last board I had i put my links in the "overall_footer.tpl" but as sonyboy said, basic knowledge of html helps.
