Jeez, that's not fun is it?
That looks like the problems I was getting when I was trying the different string patterns for urls.
What is on that line?

in your mod instructions it says this: copy feeds/feed2js.inc to includes/feeds/feed2js.inc however, there is no feed2js.inc file in the feeds folder I extracted. Sorry, that's a typo, the file is called feed2php.inc. Basically everything in the feeds directory in the package needs to be shoved in ...

So, I've been pondering over your script (trying to decode the mess that the bbcode parser has made of it) and have noticed something... It seems like parts of your code are from different versions of my mod, for example // [rss]image_url_here[/rss] code.. // This one gets first-passed.. $patterns[]...

Ah, I see what you mean. I'll see what I can do. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OK, so I tried with some feeds which I know work ok. They didn't display either. It looks like a problem with the bbcode side of things: If the magpie or feed2js were borked the tags would've have been removed and we'd just see empty JS...

OK, I see the problem there. You need to add .asp to the list of acceptable file types like this: Change // [rss]RSS_url_here[/rss] code.. $text = preg_replace("#\[rss\]((http|ftp|https|ftps)://) ([^ \?&=\#\"\n\r\t<]*?(\.(xml|php|rdf|aspx|rss|rss1|rss2))([^ \"\n\r\t<]*?))\[/rss\]#sie", "'[rss:$uid]\...

The code is quite strict about url formation.
The url must start with "http://www."
Hope this helps.

But your sitemap.php still prints urls without / after 'shoptalk':

These give 404s, not helpful to a spider.

I don't think there should be newlines in the middle of a 'loc' tag. Should all be on one line.
This is most likely a problem with your sitemap_body.tpl template file.

If your browser found it then the spider probably will.
The spiders the only thing thats going to see the sitemap.

There should be a / after shoptalk I also had to change: $server_url = $server_protocol . $server_name . $server_port . $script_name; to $server_url = $server_protocol . $server_name . $server_port . $script_name . '/'; because urls weren't being presented correctly. This'll solve problem 1.

Mine now sits in the folder above my phpbb root, in the real root of my whole site. A few hardcoded lines in the template means that my static pages are included in the same map. DEMO how is this done :?: Just put sitemap.php in your root and change the variables to reflect it's new location. For i...

is there a code string to still allow the open in new window feature? There certainly is. I've been nosying around, and noticed that a lot of feeds use UTF-8, without any adverse effects. I've also been playing with my new install. The feed2js source. I've stripped it down to make it light enough for installing within phpbb. Anyway, the raw html it produces (no-js) for your feed is this....
