Can I bug you for one more thing? I changed this stuff some, too, and since I just change by trial and error, I'd love for someone to double check it. It looks fine in both IE and FF, but I'm a total noob at this code stuff so if there was some major flaw or just a few things that needed to be clean...

Here's the new overall_header.tpl with your code inserted and the correct image link also added. Now both browsers look the same...everything except the logo is centered. <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html dir="{S_CONTENT_DIRECTION}"> <head> <me...

Since that was the only part that doesn't look right, i only copied and pasted that part of the code...hope that's okay. I'm pretty new at this.

Thanks!

Does subSilver not resize to fit the browser window?

I have a widescreen laptop, but my friend with a regular desktop, probably viewing at 1024x768 says the forums are wider than her screen. I thought they sized to the viewer's screen...can someone help with that?

Thanks!

Moving an image just a tiny bit

This is actually an image showing on the blog MOD, but I'm sure the code would be the same. Here's a link: http://www.kathyssimplescraps.com/forums/weblog.php?w=1 I just want to move my avatar where the left edge is even with the title (Welcome to my Life, etc...). Here's the part of the code where ...

One more thing about the header if I may...

I'd like the space between the rows in the main menu to be the same...I've added two more rows to it for the blog stuff and a couple of links I wanted to add. Can someone please tell me how to make them uniform?

Thanks!

K, thank you. I did ask over on the blog MOD forum, but no one has responded to any of my posts all day so I don't know where everyone is...I'll just wait it out. I don't know what I want as far as the buttons go...maybe I should just try to design a whole new set myself...really, I was just thinkin...

Wow, you're fast! Okay, now about that MOD...can you point me in the right direction? I also just happened to notice that you do buttons and such...I asked in the graphics thread for these, but I'd love to have a couple of little buttons to replace the ones I "recycled" for my Home and Gal...

It just looks a little odd to me, off center when everything else is stretched to fit the screen...maybe just me being particular ;) . I don't know how to see it in another resolution. I know it's easy (I use firefox), but I just can't remember how to do it! BTW, where do I go to get help installing...

Thanks, thatbitextra! That did help. Now my banner is at the top, where I want it to be and the site description spans the page under it, which is also fine. I thought I wanted to put the main menu to the right of the banner, but now that I think about it, I'm using a wide screen laptop and that pro...
